We had a great time. The cabin was clean and tidy. Lots of things to do in the area if you like nature. Lots and lots of trails. There is even a waterfall on the property. Pet friendly environment. I would come back.
The host were very accommodating and the place had everything you would need plus. Highly recommended and make sure you read the guest book, it will fill you in on what to do and ask of the host. If you are staying there to hike, you might not have to leave the property. We are looking to return
It was very clean and comfortable had a home feeling..We would book again ..Only problem it was full of ants you had to keep all food in refrigerator...
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was the perfect getaway for myself, my husband, and our toddler. The space was clean, well-organized, and surprisingly spacious—everything felt thoughtfully arranged and very comfortable. Check-in was a breeze, and communication with the host was smooth and responsive throughout. We truly appreciated how easy and relaxing the entire experience was. Overall, it was a cozy and enjoyable stay, and we’d happily return!
The cabin was wonderful and couldn't have been better situated for our needs. We had the opportunity to meets the hosts, and they were both warm and friendly, as well as informative and incredibly helpful. We really appreciated the maps they made of where to take our dogs hiking (so many options). Our dogs enjoyed the treats that were set out for them as well as the bowls and towels. It's obviously the hosts really enjoy making your stay as pleasant, and welcoming, as possible. We will definitely be back again.
Loved being able to have our dogss with us! The host left treats for us and the dogs, was very responsive messages and questons and the property had everything we needed for our stay. We will be back!

About the host
Hosted by David a Watkins
Dave and I love the outdoors so this is a perfect property for us. We have 2 married kids, 2 dogs and 3 cats and 40,000 honey bees. So if you see one, don't smash it. Dave has them all named. We love to fish, read, hike, . Dave grew up in toledo and I grew up in Michigan. Don't worry, I am a buckeye fan. Dave was in the army so we lived in Indiana, Boston, Korea and New York.
Why they chose this property
This property used to be a hunting preserve, so you may notice jurassic size fences around it. We opened up the gates and let in the natives. We have seen deer, turkey, mink, foxes, raccoons, skunks rabbits and squirrels. Dave will go out to hunt but I think he enjoys watching the animals more
What makes this property unique
We have a creek babbling through, the property and a waterful that is nice after a spring rain. It also looks incredible when it is frozen, . If you would like to see it, let us know and we can provide walking directions. At night, it is country dark and the stars are amazing. There is an app to download that show the constellations if you are interested.
