About this property

Beautifully decorated two bed, two bath, 15th floor beachfront unit in the Atlantis condominium at 10300 Coastal Hwy. Takes exactly 32 seconds to walk from the elevators to the beach :-) Every detail - incredibly comfortable beds and furniture, modern, spacious kitchen with huge concrete countertop, three TVs, Wifi, full size washer/dryer and a huge pool. The entire front of the condo has large windows that open and overlook the beach. You will hear seagulls and waves; you will not hear traffic or neighbors. Enjoy your morning coffee and watch the sun rise from your front window bar and watch it set over the bay from your rear window. North OC is a fairly quiet area where you can still walk to almost anything you'd like to do. Kids are very welcome! Check out our similar unit in the same building - VRBO #2241879.

Relaxing Getaway Right on the Atlantic Ocean

The Condo: it was the perfect place for our family to relax and recharge while also close to our main destination: Assateague Island National Seashore. It was very inviting, beautifully decorated, comfortable and very well stocked. It had everything we could possibly need for our trip. What we most enjoyed was having breakfast with the beautiful view of the beach right in front of us. Just perfect! The king bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The kids loved their room with the view of the inlet and the bunk bed. Communication with Steve and Karyn was outstanding. The Area: when exploring it off-season you can beat the crowds + enjoy free parking and we even got to see a baby sea lion sunbathing in OC : ) We were surprised to find out it is really hard to find places with a larger selection of good and healthier seafood dishes at regular prices. Most restaurants are closed now or only open on weekends. Many places were more expensive than good restaurants in DC, Key West, California or Paris, France. The dishes weren’t anything special for the price either. Many menus we looked at didn't have many options. There are 2 places we tried and we would recommend: PAPI’S TACOS in OC and Pines Public House & Eatery in Berlin. For specialty coffee places try Rise Up Coffee Roaster in OC and 2nd Wave Coffee & Social in Berlin. Otherwise the supermarket close by was stocked with a good selection of foods and there’s a Coffee Beanery next to it.

Hi! We're a working couple living near Baltimore who re-discovered the beauty of OC during the early days of the pandemic. It was a place we could get to easily when travel was difficult and we enjoyed it so much we looked around for a place to buy. We still love it just as much and are happy to share our place with you.

Why they chose this property

Location, location, location! You can watch the sunrise over the ocean from one window and watch sunset over the bay from the other side. Plus it is *extremely* nicely furnished. Most of the furniture was *handmade* by the former owner, who also poured the concrete countertop himself. I can't take credit for anything, but it is really nice :-)

What makes this property unique

Sleeps five comfortably (all in real beds, not sofas). Large, modern kitchen, windowfront bar overlooking the beach, tile baths. Beachfront, in as enjoyable an area as you're likely to find along the Delaware and Maryland beaches. Very walk-able; we almost never drive when we're here. Awesome biking, too! We love it and are pretty sure you will too.
