Why they chose this property
This historical 5 acre farm was first established in Jackson County in 1850. In 1852, underneath the trees that sprawl the countryside, this elegant estate was the sight of the very first pioneer wedding of Frank Dean and Anna Huston. The couple spent several years working their estate in the 1800 during the American-Indian wars. While the rest of the valley was in turmoil, the Dean Family was able to create a symbiotic relationship with the local tribes through their reputation of generous trade and respect for the native way of life. For generations to come the Dean descendants lived on this land for over 100 years. The story of Frank and Anna is a true testament to the strength of love, family, and commitment.
