About this property
Campsite + Dock
No Hookups, reconnect with nature, a beautiful semi private wooded Camp site with gorgeous magnolias and pines overlooking Apalachicola Bay. Access to a private dock with two boat slips and great fishing. Beautiful trees, you can hang your hammocks or just hang in the woods. Be ready to see beautiful sunrises, sunsets from the dock, and a lot of wildlife. PLEASE NOTE* We do not have any type of hookups. Only self-contained campers, RV's, van's and tents. Also, there are no bedrooms or bathrooms. We are also close to highway 98. Therefore you will have some road noise, especially during work hours, but the noise usually quits down at night. Very well-kept site. The owners allowed us use of their dock which was nice to have an evening drink or fish from. Fire pit, wood, and table available. Kinda close to a main road if you’re considering bringing kiddos, but perfect for what we were looking for!
We had a fantastic stay. The campsite was exactly as described and the owners answered our pre-stay questions quickly and professionally. We were surprised at how private, spacious, clean, and shaded the campsite was. There was a little road noise but not at night. We used the dock across the road and caught stingrays, red drums, trout, and pinfish. The drive across the bridge to St George was short and convenient. Don’t miss the sunrise from the dock.
Host was super nice and helpful. We had asked about the blue claw crabbing off the dock. Host actually put in an "overnighter" and had crabs available for us.
The host's are a really nice couple, very friendly but still had total privacy. We would stay there again for sure. It's close to everything and so peaceful...
We stayed 10 nights and loved the location, the large tropical space with beautiful trees and plenty of shade . The site featured a pebbled driveway , firepit, 2 chaises , a hammock and fishing pier. Everything to relax. Easy acccess to St George Island and Appalachacola.
The property was as described but when arriving the property, the views and the ambiance of the property were so much more than words and pictures could have ever described.
This is a perfect location for anyone wanting to get away and unplug from society and life for awhile.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone.
This was a very nice place to stop for a few days. Well kept property and communicative hosts who were both available but gave me privacy. This property is right off a highway, so there's a bit of road noise, but for me the views made it all worth it. The property is exactly as pictured but bigger. I would definitely stay here again!
A little difficult to find at night.
We had a truck/trailer and a SUV/trailer. Not much room to move vehicles around, but the owner came out with a flash light and helped. You need very good backing skills especially if coming in at night. There was a chilly breeze at night due to be very close to the ocean. The view, especially in the morning was beautiful. I’d stop over for a night again.
