Canyon Lake offers the perfect Home Away From Home. This hill country home can sleeps up to six comfortably and is the perfect getaway for a small family or group of friends. Inside, guests will find this charming three bedroom, two bathroom home creates an atmosphere of relaxation and fun. Located only 3 minutes from Canyon Lake and 10 minutes from the Guadalupe River this property is the perfect launch pad to any adventures the hill country has to offer.

The Space
Home Away From Home offers a clean, open floor plan perfect for gathering with family and friends. Upon entering, guests will appreciate the lovely wood floors and a large open kitchen with accents of beautiful rock work. Enjoy a full kitchen to prepare favorite meals that will satisfy everyone’s hunger. Relax in the family room which offers a large flat screen television and comfortable sofa's with enough room for everyone. Guests will find this the perfect little space to enjoy a movie or play games. The kitchen opens up into the family room and includes a cooktop stove, full size refrigerator, and plenty of counter space. Enjoy a family meal at the bench style dining table or a snack at the breakfast bar. The onsite laundry is perfect for those planning longer stays.

With three large bedrooms there is plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The master bedroom hosts a king size bed with comfortable linens and an attached shower/tub combo. In addition, there are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with bunk beds, a twin top and full bottom. Coupled with comfortable linens guests will sleep soundly. Refresh in the additional roomy bathroom with shower/tub combo.

For an evening under the stars gather around the fire pit. Enjoy roasting hot dogs and s’mores under the twinkling lights. Guests will find plenty of seating as well as a picnic table in this cozy outdoor space.

If you are looking for outdoor Hill Country fun, Hannock Trail is only minutes away. Enjoy a beach area, swimming, and nature trails. Overlook Park is a short drive with great views of Canyon Lake as well as the Dam. Rent a pontoon boat, or jet ski on Canyon Lake. Take a day trip to Gruene, home to the historic Gruene Hall, enjoy music and dancing, or dine at the delicious Gristmill Restaurant. Enjoy shopping in the downtown square of Wimberley or swimming, and hiking at the famous Jacobs Well, Zip Line Adventure, or Blue Hole regional Park offers swimming and nature trails. Visit New Braunfels and float the beautiful Guadalupe River, rent paddle boats or picnic at Landa Park, swim at the Spring Fed Pool, spend the day at Schlitterbahn Water Park, or visit one of the local wineries or breweries for wine or beer tasting.

The house was great and the arcade game was fun BUT the hot tub was tepid at best and even after resetting ( per instructions) it never got hot enough which was a huge disappointment as it was the main reason for selecting the property.

This house was perfect for our relaxing girls' getaway with our daughters. I only wish it was a little closer access to the lake! But the house came with everything you need- Hot tub and fire pit were a nice bonus! The owner was a great host too and very responsive at all times! Would definitely stay here again!

They had the ac on a difficult program that kept changing the temp to 78 and if we left the house and came back it would be 82 in the house and the air conditioner wasn’t good enough to cool the house down after it got hot. If it was programmed and never got hot in the first place I believe it would have maintained but it was not good enough to overcome until it was night time

Great little cottage by the lake.

We came for a short stay with family. The neighborhood is very close to the lake and it’s quiet. Enjoyed the hot tub at night under the stars. Overall the stay was very comfortable for everyone.
