Overall was a great stay! Was looking forward to the hot tub but it was just an outside metal tub that was supposed to be filled with hose water, no cleaning chemicals, etc… not a deal breaker or anything, but a hot tub was the search criteria I used as a filter to find a cabin!

Glad you enjoyed yourselves, we don't advertise a hot tub, and it says Outdoor Bath in the title and plenty of pictures. We are not hiding this fact and many enjoy our Outdoor Bath,No Chemicals Clean Everytime! It is one of our most loved Amenities! Thanks for Visiting Ma & Pa's!
This is a great little cabin that my wife, son and I stayed in for a weekend. The place was very clean and cozy and communication with the owners of the property was fantastic. I would recommend Ma and Pa's Cabin to anyone looking for a cozy little get away. We will be coming back!

Thanks for Visiting, Welcome back anytime, Ma & Pa's.
I can't pick one thing to say about this place as all were great. We can't wait to stay again. If you do stay stop in at the store and get the homemade pickles and the maple bacon cheese. The owner is extremely nice.

Thanks so much! Can't wait for you to visit again and enjoy the property at different times of the year, thanks again, Tammy, Ma & Pa's Cabin
This cabin was recommended to us and we absolutely loved it. However, it was extremely cold and there was only one blanket provided. If you get cold easily, be sure to bring blankets! Other than that, we had a lovely time.

Hello, thanks for your review, we have Never had any complaints about our cabin being cold, you failed to mention that you had it up to 78 degrees soon after you arrived which is plenty warm enough, also the fireplace will burn you out , extra blankets are available if you ask us. Thanks for Visiting and good luck on your adventures!
It always sucks when you have to go back to reality after a vacation or little getaway. This one was hard! Absolutely beautiful, serene and peaceful. Just a perfect setting to relax. Great owners!!

This is my second stay here. Gorgeous private property. Impeccably clean and well-stocked with everything you'll need. Cozy outdoor fire and fun outdoor tub are wonderful. Check in was simple and the host was very communicative and helpful. The bird watching here is great...bring binocs!

Cabin is set back in the woods with no other visible houses around which was nice. Enjoyed the outdoor soaker tub, viewing the stars and the little pond. very small town but there are several nice restaurants close by which is a plus. Enjoyed our stay
Beautiful secluded cozy cabin. The cabin was immaculate and the property well maintained. Enjoyed sitting by the pond, dipping into the outdoor tub, and spending time by the gas firepit. Made burgers and hot dogs on the grill and found everything i needed in the kitchen. For those who want privacy (no neighbors within sight), this is the spot. Stores and gas only a couple miles down the road. Wonderful hosts gave great check in instructions....thanks so much!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Lovely setting, clean and well appointed cabin, horrible sulfur smell from the water.
Lovely setting; nicely built cabin and very clean. However, the pictures don’t fully describe the sleeping arrangements. They’re fine if your willing to have 4 people sleep in one room in double-bed bunk beds and that guests are physically able to climb up a ladder to get into the top bunk. This cabin wouldn’t be suitable for everyone. Also, the water had a very strong sulfur smell and needs to be treated. I won’t be staying there again.

Hello,
Thanks for your review, in the description of the Cabin it fully states that there is one bedroom and that the top bunk is better suited for children and comfortable for adults also, they are queen size beds not double, bunk beds means there is a ladder, and in the picture shows the ladder. Also, we have noted in the Cabin that a carbon filter is going to be installed the first week of August, the water is perfectly safe to drink shower etc. and is good for your skin and hair. The sulfur only comes out when the weather is warmer and we have yet to be open in the summer until now. I think you should have asked more questions before your stay regarding the sleeping situation which has been appreciated by other guests. Thanks for visiting and sorry we could have not made your stay better.
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was super clean and very peaceful. From the sound of the fountain in the pond, to the hammock, to the WONDERFUL soaking tub, it was exactly what we needed to escape our busy lives.
Only drawback... be careful with bare feet and the stone under the wood stove. OUCH!!
The host was extremely responsive. I worried a bit about check-in instructions, which we didn't get until about noon on our check-in day. I was afraid they weren't coming and would've liked to have gotten them sooner.
We would definitely stay there again.

Ma & Pa's Cabin
My stay at this charming cabin was the best gift I could have booked myself. It was just as described and represented the photographs perfectly. It was exceptionally clean and every detail was thought out. It felt like a very well loved cabin.
The hosts left delicious cookies and various amenities in the kitchen for their guests. The hosts were prompt in their responses, answered all of my questions, and were very helpful when I had a request. They were delightful.
The cabin itself is tucked back from the main road amidst the forest. The fountain was such a beautiful sound to wake up to each day.
I stayed alone and found it to be safe and very peaceful. I was very sad to leave, it was such a perfect place to recharge.

Thanks Elizabeth! We love the Cabin too! We don't want to leave when we go back to visit either, Come back again anytime! Thanks again, Ma & Pa's Cabin
Wow! What an incredible few days I spent at this cabin. Everything was so clean, tidy, and cozy. I spent hours laying on the dock soaking in the sun. The hammock is comfortable as is the outdoor furniture and the gas fire pit was super easy to use. I needed a quiet place to rest my heart and collect my thoughts and Ma and Pa’s cabin was certainly the place to do it. I slept peacefully every night in the cozy bed and enjoyed my coffee in the morning on the gorgeous deck. I’m sure when the trees are full it’s an even better experience. I enjoyed hiking the trail and watching the animals on the property. You must stop in to the gift shop either before or after your visit. It is clear that Ma and Pa have thought of everything. WiFi was great although I barely used it. Ma even left some treats for me upon my arrival. Of all the options I was weighing when I planned my trip, I am so so glad I chose to stay here and can’t wait to visit again! I can’t express how safe I felt here on my own. Thanks again for an amazing experience!
