"River Views"-Downtown Convenience, Tappahannock
Enjoy the small town feel of Tappahannock in our historic Gresham House. One of the oldest duplexes in the state of Virginia. You are footsteps from enjoying the Rappahannock River. Our space is over 1000 sq ft of charm and comfort. Walk to breakfast and dinner or eat in. The kitchen has everything you would ever need to complete a 4 course meal. The bedroom boast a canopied queen bed that makes you feel like you are in your own little oasis. Start your morning out on our front porch swing with your cup of joe. Welcome home.
Location, Location........We are in the heart of Tappahannock and within walking distance( 2 to 3 blocks) of all the Great Restaurants and pubs, plus the Best Ice Cream shop around. Keep in mind also that we are on a main side road and there will be some traffic noise. If you are a LIGHT SLEEPER we provide a white noise machine in the bedroom.( we are very convenient to everything in Tappahannock but on a main road)
28 Day bookings also require a refundable deposit.
( Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, March bookings for over 5 days or more required an additional heating fee, This is a older building built in 1858 or before and while it is very quaint and you can keep it very warm it heats with gas)
This is not an ADA approved unit.
We always suggest trip/ renters insurance before booking.

Location is given when you book. We are sorry you did not appreciate the location, it states in town and the address. And for our light sleepers we have a white noise machine in the bedroom beside the bed. You could have asked and we would have gladly responded to you concern. Most of our guests on VRBO and Airbnb love our romantic, private and Great location in town where you can walk to All the best restaurants in town. Especially, my favorite Acme Ice Cream shop.
