Our two-week vacation on Marco Island
We loved the size of the condo, the beautiful balcony, the walk-in closet, and especially the the quiet surroundings as well as the clean pool, We wished the master bathroom was larger. It is difficult to get in and out.

Twice Fooled
We loved the location, the entire island of Marco Island, the facility where this unit was located and the heated pool. We also got to meet fellow guests and owners and found them to be absolutely charming.
If the owner is reading this, he/she should visit this unit and try sleeping on these beds for a week or two or perhaps a month which is the length of stay that we endured.

We stayed for the month of February, 2023. Great location, nice pool and very close to the beach in a very nice neighborhood on Marco Island. The only downside that we experienced was that the management company was located in Portland, Oregon and had very little authority over local staff. We had a few issues that we needed to resolve because the Oregon folks were not communicating with the local staff…very frustrating. In 28 days, we never saw a local staff person but we received a lot of apologies from Oregon. In spite of this, we booked this unit for next year…you can’t beat this location.

I already wrote to Vacasa but they did not reply.
What we did not like: The master shower was dirty, black mold, the grout needed cleaning. I scrubbed as much as I could. The bathroom is very small! One of the couches needs to be replaced; you sink into it and cannot get up. I had to sit on a pillow (I am 85 yrs. old and have a bad back). I think the floors were not properly cleaned because our white socks got dirty right away, and there was dust under our bed also. The stove only had 2 small workable burners. One week after arrival a stove was delivered and beautified our living for the remainder of our stay. We were not told about this ahead of time. We did not want our vacation interrupted by waiting for an installer for the stove. My husband wanted peace and quiet...We think we should be compensated for this inconvenience, but just like the rental car situation, your company has no regard for the customer. The storm door is hard to close;needs adjustment.Parking was difficult.
What we liked: The large bedrooms and living area, the balcony and the quietness, the pool, the cleanliness of the surroundings. The nice walk to the beach.
The people living there were concerned about our well
beeing. I was asked: how is the mattress? The previous occupant had many complaints, I was told .I would only recommend this condo if I were assured that it was clean and everything working properly.

Be on the beach in minutes!
One of the best things about Shells O’Plenty is the access to the South Beach. You can be on the beach in minutes. There are chairs, a beach umbrella and cart to make your stay at the beach great!
I loved the property location. It was minutes to the beach. There are beach chairs, an umbrella, and a beach cart to make your beach days easy. The pool is awesome - usually very quiet. The apartment is well equipped.
