Summary:
The Jackie O is an elegantly decorated apartment with-in walking distance to the beach and downtown amenities of Gulfport FL. Enjoy local jazz music in town and Tuesday markets for finding unique items. The locals will make you feel like one of them and the beach will soothe your soul. We try to provide everything you will need for your comfort and will respond immediately with any issues or concerns.

The Space:
Beautifully appointed, we provide fresh towels and linens for each bed. Coffee and Tea, basic spices, etc.. Kitchens are stocked with everything needed to prepare and serve a meal, serve wine and cocktails as well as desert. Large beach towels and 2 beach chairs are available for your use. Bring your suitcase and your bathing suit...we will take care of the rest.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to all outdoor amenities of grill, picnic table, patio seating, fire pit and yard.

The Neighborhood:
Visitors may enjoy a delicious breakfast after a nice walk along Shore Blvd to take in the scenic view of Tierra Verde across the bay. Then they might spend a few hours shopping for original paintings, unique gifts, Florida souvenirs, or rare antiques. Maybe they will just take in the scenery or photograph the colorful buildings and homes that sit on tree covered streets in Gulfport. Lunch or Dinner would be enjoyed in any of the several popular restaurants on Gulfport, Beach and Shore Blvds.
Located on the Boca Ciega Bay with a nice beach and long fishing pier, Gulfport's Waterfront District attracts young and old alike.

Getting Around:
Gulfport FL is very walkable, but there are golf cart services making the rounds to assist visitors. Wide sidewalks through out town lead you through the beautiful parks and downtown shops and on in to the surrounding neighborhoods. Parking is free throughout the city but scarce. Fortunately our little place is steps away from all the fun.

Other Things to Note:
There may be guests in other units on the property. Please be respectful of parking, privacy and noise

Interaction with Guests:
You may catch me stopping by to water the flowers and herbs in the window boxes, stocking the laundry/supply area or checking the mail. Our neighbor may pop in and out of the laundry room area to help me out occasionally also. We may say hi, but will give you your space and be gone in a flash if you don't feel like chatting. If you need help with the bikes or any onsite issue, we are just across town and can drop in to help.

Girls Beach Weekend

we stayed at the Jackie O. It was the cutest bungalow. Walking distance to everything we needed. The place was stocked with plenty of towels. Plenty of accessories for cooking. Unfortunately we did not get to use the fire pit because of the weather but would’ve loved to, and plan to come back and sit around the amazing fire pit. Make sure you try out trivia on Thursday night and a long weekend was not enough time to try out all of the restaurants. We definitely have shared the information with friends and plan to go back and stay at the same place.

Weekend in Gulfport

We often stay in Gulfport when we visit the Tampa Bay area, and this trip was for the St. Petersburg Grand Prix. We arrived shortly after check-in time. The suite was clean, and the parking was convenient. It is close to downtown Gulfport, and ideal for two people; but four people would probably be all right. Gulfport has an active nightlife, and a lot of live music venues. The suite was well within walking distance of most restaurants and bars. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Great Location, Cozy & Comfortable

We loved the convenience of the location, being walking distance to the best things Gulfport has to offer. The apartment was clean and very comfortable for two adults or a young family. Many extras were provided and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. It was lovely to sit outside and enjoy the view of the park and pier, or to take a quick walk to shopping and restaurants.

Reunion weekend

We had friends book a place nearby for a reunion, but because we have young kids we needed our own space and this worked out just fine. It has everything we needed and was so close to all the shops, restaurants and the beach where our crew gathered throughout the weekend.
