Enjoyed our stay while visiting Eckerd College which was just a short drive away. The house was adorable and very well appointed with every inch of space maximized for usefulness. We found it easy to get around Gulfport and St Pete from this location. Appreciated the accommodation of our early check in request too. Highly recommend for 1-2 guests.
I was really happy with the guest house- cute and really well appointed. Host was very communicative. The neighborhood wasn’t what I was expecting but the place was nice
We loved our stay at the Tiny Mockingbird Bungalow! It’s the perfect size for two, and even with its small size has all the needed kitchen amenities. Bonus points for the washer/dryer!
A very modern and cozy bungalow with everything you really need. Great neighborhood with friendly neighbors, short drive to all the shops, restaurants and attractions. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.
This was the perfect property, quiet, well-appointed and conveniently located. I hate staying in hotels for business and The Tiny Mockingbird was a perfect solution. Michelle was communicative and the property is as described in the listing.
Hidden jewel located in Gulfport! This place has everything you need and if you forget anything its just over 2 miles to a local cvs, shopping center and Publix. Its minutes from downtown Gulfport and local beaches. Downtown St. Pete is also a short drive. My father was visiting from NC and due to Hurricane Helene he was unable to stay with me. This place checked all our boxes and I was able to bring my dog over to visit. He was very comfortable staying here and we enjoyed our morning coffee in the enclosed courtyard. This place is very private and love the quiet neighborhood. If you are visiting the area and looking for a place centrally located that is quiet and comfortable, this is your place! Also, Michelle always responded within the hour whenI had any questions! Thanks Michelle!
A Delight to Stay at the Tiny Mockingbird Bungalow
When we first go there, the metal crab and ornaments on the gate greeted us warmly, we knew we were in the right place! The bangalow is truly adorable! Very small but just right for 2. It's beautifully done with fresh, clean furnishings and decor. The large washer/dryer was amazing! It was close to Gulfport and to the freeway and downtown St Pete. All in all we had a lovely stay and wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you Michelle, you were a great host, very reposnsive and helpful!
This was a last minute pet friendly stay for me so I was happy Michelle was prompt in responding and flexible with early check in. I realize booking a location in Gulfport can be tricky. The neighborhood was nice to walk around but keep in mind you definitely need a car/bike to get to the Art District. The tiny house was well appointed and decorated and as pictured. The fenced in patio was cute and was a plus with a dog. My only complaints were that it was difficult to get to, even with detailed instructions and that I felt uncomfortable arriving back at night alone. The entrance for the unit is in a dark alley and there were always a couple of men sitting outside in the car port next door. There is a small light by the entrance gate but that is the only one. Parking is tight which was fine but difficult in the dark. I would suggest putting lights along the top of the back and side fence for ease of parking and a feeling of safety.
This was exactly what you want in a VRBO property and host. Easy communication, detailed instructions on how to find the property how to check in, where to park. It was in a good residential neighborhood. The property is just as described and shown in the photos. The outdoor area has two chairs and a table. It’s very private because it’s surrounded with a 6 foot Attractive, solid wood fence that gives you total privacy. The kitchen was new and worked perfectly - has a microwave and toaster Keurig coffee maker. The bathroom was new. Enough hot water and pressure from tankless WH. Bed was comfortable. I was a solo traveler on business, but I would definitely stay here again with my wife. It’s large enough for a couple. Great place
Clean, quiet, private—Perfect!! We were back in Florida to resolve a dispute abt the damage to our house back in September . We needed a quiet retreat not too far from our still -ravished house. We eventually worked stuff out and afterwards were able to come back to our retreat— with the plants and birds and all the amenities we needed- complete kitchen , great WiFi. Privacy and quiet. Contacts with the host were minimal but were always prompt and pleasant. We definitely recommend. Oh, and the washer/dryer were definitely appreciated. Just a note abt the area— it might look a little funky at first but it’s your normal, authentic Gulfport neighborhood. It’s safe and clean. Not within walking distance to much but quiet and residential. We actually live abt 3 miles west and spend a lot of time in Gulfport.
