TO NOTE:
-Please note that the island may be affected by shifting seasonal currents and weather patterns causing an influx of seaweed at the beach. During heavy production seasons we clean the Estate's beach daily (weather permitting)!

-On this tropical island, expect sun, rain, and bugs. Bring suitable gear like sunblock and bug repellent. Additional supplies are available for purchase at the office reception if needed.

-The road North is partially paved and can be bumpy depending on seasonal rains and the last time paved (if someone in your group has spine problems, please speak to your concierge for alternative suggestions). If traveling at night, remember to switch on your golf cart lights.

POOL USAGE:
We have a partnership with two resorts, our neighboring resort, and the newest resort on the island, Margaritaville. Our guests have complimentary resort access and use of amenities while purchasing food and beverage. Guests must comply with all resort rules. Usage of the pool is subject to change at any time by resort management. Fees may apply.

It was nice to have a meet and greet so we knew a bit about the area ahead of time. Terri took us to a grocery store that was outrageously priced for our first stop. 2 bags for $150! I suggest going on your own as we found much more cost effective places. Another suggestion i have is to make sure your accommodations/host explain to you in detail if your golf cart gets wet underneath. It will not run unless you use wd40. (Show us next time) How to navigate the puddles/massive water on roads in the rainy season. Also the quality of the cart is important. We were trying to avoid the potholes and both tie rod ends on our cart broke. We went through 3 golf carts in 6 days, which takes time away from our 1 week holiday. We did have an amazing time with our snorkeling, fishing and caye caulker captain Joel and Louis! So great we booked them for a second excursion and look forward to seeing them again. Even though we were 1 hour late they were incredibly gracious. One thing i did notice is that constructive criticism does not go well here. But if there isnt room for change or growth how is a business suppose to get better. I am a Concierge/property manager in Canada and it is hard to please everyone, but a little extra touch goes a long way. Bring bug spray as we were 9miles north of town. San Pedro sprays but here. We were told about the fish spray which kills the mosquitos our second to last day from the cleaner.
