Really great location if wanting to be close to town center. Lovely home and everything was good overall. It was quite loud outside in the evening because you’re right above a bar and outside area where people congregate. Overall nice place and the owner was very good about helping us with anything we needed.
We had an amazing stay at Casa Carlina! Elena and Enrico were wonderful hosts, and provided us with a detailed list of local restaurants and resources that made it easy for us to navigate the city and its charms. Their home was beautiful, cozy and clean, with everything needed to prepare meals, and we immensely enjoyed the lively location central to everything. We can’t wait to return to Torino and Casa Carlina!
I really enjoyed staying at this property - and will again in two weeks!. It is in a lively part of Turin - and one where there is easy access to the lovely riverside walk, the Egyptian museum, the Cinema museum, the railway station and many fine dining and casual places to eat. The property is set apart by the congeniality of the hosts and the wonderful light that enters the front windows from the Piazza. Would definitely book again.
We had a great trip and appreciated how close the apartment is to good restaurants and other must see sights. We would definitely stay again when in the region.
Excellent accommodation with everything we needed for our stay. The hosts warmly welcomed us and gave us a lot of information which was useful. Excellent central location with very good restaurants and cafes minutes away,
This flat exceeded my expectations in every way It was so nice to meet Elena who met us at the apartment upon our arrival. She showed us around and told us that she and her husband would be available if we had any problems or concerns. But we didn't have any issues. Everything was perfect!
We really enjoyed our stay in Turin. This apartment was perfectly located next to a large piazza with alot of restaurants. The apartment was clean and safe. Because of the activities on the piazza until late hours, the bedroom facing it was noisy making sleep an issue. Otherwise, our hosts were very responsive. A great place.
Elena welcomed us warmly and oriented us to the amenities and facilities. The apartment was spotless and designed very well! We loved the location on the square. It was easy walking from there to many other spots or just enjoying our piazza. Two very modern bathrooms and two bedrooms were perfect. All the plumbing, hot water, washing machine , dishwasher, induction cooktop worked well with no glitches. We loved this place and Torino! Thank you Elena and Enrico!! Gina
Four of us spent five days in Torino. The apartment was perfectly located, and very easy to use. It was a very classy place with great art and decoration. The rooms and bathrooms all worked out well for us after a day wondering the city.
Great location. Rodrigo was very helpful with check in and recommendations for restaurants
Art collection is impressive Comfortable bedrooms and very spacious main room overlooking the piazza
The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had a fabulous stay. The flat is gorgeous, warm, roomy and very clean. It sits above a wonderful coffee and pastry shop and we woke to amazing smells every morning. The location is perfect. We highly recommend this property.
Absolutely fabulous stay! The apartment was superb and soon felt like home! Elena and Enrico were kind, informative, communicative and helpful hosts! The apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable. It can get quite lively in the beautiful piazza below but the apartment blocks out most of the sound! Perfect location for walking to everything! We are looking forward to our next stay!
The apartment is beautiful. It has a few quirks based on the age of the building. The location is also great for touring the historic district. It is all walkable. Access was easy. The hosts were very communicative. It has a lift which is helpful. The only caveat is that the apartment is located above several restaurants and bars that stay open until 2- 3 am Friday and Saturday nights so it’s quite loud if you try to sleep before then. Otherwise, I would recommend it.
We were two couples sharing the beautiful apartment. The 2 equal size bedrooms and bathrooms made it easy to share. The apartment is so pretty and comfortable. The location was amazing, we could walk everywhere. Great coffee and gelato right downstairs. Elena, the owner was there at check in to show us around the place, which was great.
2nd stay, just as great as the 1st. Looking forward to the next.
Immaculate property. modern design, fantastic location for everything in Torino. Enrico and Elena have become friends.

Thank you so much for your kind words! Having you as guests is always a pleasure, and we're truly pleased that we’ve become friends – that’s the best thing we could have hoped for. Looking forward to welcoming you again!
I’m sorry we didn’t have more time in Turin as Casa Carlina was a stunning apartment in a great location. Esme, who checked us in, couldn’t have been nicer. Would definitely recommend the apartment!

About the host
Hosted by Enrico and Elena
We are Enrico and Elena, and we live in Turin, just a short distance from Carlina House. We share a passion for travel, art, architecture and nature, which inspires the way we welcome our guests.
Enrico is an architect and Elena is an antique dealer. Together, we have carefully restored and furnished our apartment to create a space that reflects the character of Turin while offering comfort, authenticity and attention to detail.
Since 2015, we have been hosting travellers from around the world and take pride in helping our guests discover the city and enjoy a memorable stay.
Why they chose this property
More than simply a place to stay, the apartment is part of one of Turin’s most historic neighbourhoods. The building stands within the former Jewish Quarter, established in 1679 under the regency of Maria Giovanna Battista of Savoy. The area retains much of its original character, with its distinctive urban layout, historic architecture and unique atmosphere.
Inside, exposed wooden ceilings and carefully selected furnishings reflect the heritage of the building while providing modern comfort. The ceilings are slightly lower than those found in contemporary buildings, a characteristic feature of many historic properties in the city centre, contributing to the apartment’s intimate and welcoming feel.
Combined with air conditioning, sound-insulating windows and thoughtful renovation, the apartment offers a comfortable retreat in the heart of Turin’s vibrant historic centre.
What makes this property unique
Three elements make this apartment stand out.
First, its location. Overlooking piazza Carlo Emanuele II, in the heart of Turin’s historic centre, it allows guests to experience the city on foot, surrounded by cafés, restaurants, museums and elegant squares.
Second, its character. The apartment is located within the former Jewish Quarter, one of Turin’s most historic neighbourhoods. Original architectural features, including exposed wooden ceilings, preserve the atmosphere of the building while modern renovations ensure contemporary comfort.
Third, its layout. Two independent double bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, offer a level of privacy and convenience rarely found in historic city-centre properties.
The result is a distinctive combination of history, comfort and location, carefully curated by an architect and an antique dealer who have been welcoming guests since 2015.
