Fantastic stay in Torino

Awesome apartment and Hosts!

Excellent location and well fitted-out apartment, perfect for our family of 4. The host was excellent and made us feel welcome. Communicated well with us and made our stay very pleasant, even facilitating an early check in. We were very grateful for the hospitality, recommendations and flexibility.

Great stay

Overall the location of this property is great - city centre is walkable. Toughest part was parking, it is paid street parking and we weren't aware of that but it was fine once we learned how to do it.

Lovely apt

Lovely large apt with 3 big bedrooms, a beautiful little balcony overlooking the church across the road, a nice touch from the host of biscuits and juice. It’s a 35 minute walk into the Centre but there is a great metro so close by which we used everyday. Communication with Tommaso was excellent he was very responsive. The only small thing I would say is that one of the bathroom doors doesn’t close, this is ok for us as we were with family but could be awkward if with friends!

Well stocked home and great host

Tomasso, our host, meet us at the property and was great. He explained the home and gave us all sort of recommendations for restaurants and sites. He even made reservations for us. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. In two of the bedrooms, the mattresses are only 6 inches off the floor, which for seniors, made it difficult to get in and out of bed.

historic apartment!

My family and I enjoyed our stay in Turin at this beautiful apartment! With views of a cathedral and walking distance to grocery stores as well as restaurants it was a great place for the few days we had in Turin. The beds were comfortable. The space was adequate for our family of five and the kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to prepare meals. We were welcomed with different juices as well as local cookies which was a nice touch. It is a bit of a walk to some places you may want to visit, but we like walking and that wasn’t a problem for us. we would recommend this place and would stay here again if we find ourselves in Torino in the future.

Fantastic!

We had the BEST time in Turin! The location is perfect for seeing sights and also for easy onward travel. So much was within walking distance and we found the trams and buses easy to navigate. The apartment itself was a great space in a great location. It is in desperate need of refurbishment (plumbing, fixtures & fittings, sofas held together with tape, flooring in bathroom…), however we only used it as a base and for that it was perfect! Tomasso could not have been more helpful! The best host we have ever encountered! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful home base for 3 months in Torino

My family of 4 stayed at Tommaso and Alessandra's place in San Salvario for 3 months, while I taught at Politecnico di Torino. It was the perfect home base for an easy commute to Polito's main campus and a short walk to Castello del Valentino, where I was teaching. San Salvario has many great restaurants. The neighborhood can get lively/noisy at night, but the apartment is located on a quiet block with no restaurants, across from a church. The walk to Porta Nuova train station takes about 12 minutes, even with little kids, which was handy for our weekend trips to other cities. The 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment worked great for our family of 4 - one more bedroom and one more bathroom than we have in California. The apartment has everything you need for cooking and cleaning during a longer stay. Tommaso was very responsive when we had any questions, and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and gelato. We will stay here again if we have the chance to return to Torino!

Goede en snelle communicatie met host Tommasso. Appartement ligt op een goede plek als uitvalsbasis om Turijn te ontdekken. Appartement kan nog likje verf gebruiken en het meubilair kent wat sleet. Maar voor een paar dagen citytrip een uitstekende locatie.

Apartamento a 10 minuto de Porta Nova. Cocina muy bien equipada. Las habitaciones son amplias y espaciosas. Los baños están bien. La limpieza esta muy bien. La comunicación con Tomasso muy bien, nos recibió con agua, zumos y pastas típicas de Turín. Algo alejado del centro pero no a mas de 29 minutos. Calle algo ruidosa. Falta algo de mantenimiento a los sofás pero nada reseñable para un estancia inolvidable.

Schönes Apartment, zentral gelegen

Schönes Apartment in zentraler Lage. Zweiter Stock (mit Aufzug) in historischem Gebäude in einem schönen Viertel von Turin. Gute Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufig in der Nähe. Ebenso eine Metrostation, der Bahnhof Porta Nuova sowie Busse und Trams. Gute Ausstattung und vor allem sehr freundliche Vermieter.

Ein wunderbarer Turin-Aufenthalt

Die Wohnung liegt ruhig in einem lebendigen, zentralen Viertel. Der Bahnhof ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön, einfach aber mit Stil eingerichtet und hat alles, was man für einen Städtetrip benötigt. Tommaso hat uns persönlich empfangen, alles gezeigt und uns tolle Restaurants und Bars inTurin empfohlen . Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Séjour à Turin

Nous avons passé 3 nuits chez Tommaso : l'appartement est très propre et très bien situé pour visiter Turin. Sur l'annonce il est fait mention d'une place de parking mais il s'agit des places de stationnement dans la rue. Ce n'était pas très gênant car il y en avait beaucoup à disposition (parking payant cependant). Malgré ce petit bémol, je recommande cet appartement pour un séjour en famille !

Excellent séjour chez Alessandra et Tommaso

Nous avons été très satisfaits de notre séjour chez Tommaso, l'accueil était très chaleureux, l'appartement spacieux très bien situé était parfaitement équipé, situé dans un quartier très agréable et proche de toutes les commodités, très bien desservi aussi par les transports en commun. Un séjour Parfait

Appartement très grand, très confortable qui nous a permis de profiter de Turin à pied ainsi que de Milan ( la gare Porto Nueva est à côté). Agréable appartement proche du centre

Bien situé mais dans une rue tranquille, l'appartement est vaste et bien orienté, avec deux balcons, l'un sur la rue, l'autre sur la cour. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques, réactifs et flexibles. On aurait attendu qu'étant donné le prix élevé de la location, tout soit irréprochable. Ce n'est pas le cas. Deux lits ne sont pas des lits mais des matelas posés sur un sommier. Toutes les portes grincent et devraient être révisées. Quant aux toilettes de la deuxième salle de bain, il s'agit d'un sanibroyeur dont le fonctionnement est loin d'être parfait.

Skøn og rummelig lejlighed

Vi (5 personer) havde et dejligt ophold. Vi satte pris på, at værelserne var store og rummelige og at der var 2 badeværelser og to mindre altaner. Altanen mod gaden har udsigt til en meget smuk kirke. Alt var rent og ordentligt og der var alt det udstyr vi havde behov for. Gå-afstand til det meste, og nemt at komme til offentlig transport. Stor anbefaling herfra.

Big apartment in good location

The apartment was perfect for our 2 families (4 adults and 4 small kids). Tommasso was very communicative and easy to reach. Also, we were welcomed with juice and Italian cookies for our group, which was a nice touch. The apartment is big and the bedrooms are spacious, each equipped with comfortable beds, fans, and large windows. The ceilings are high, which was helpful in keeping it cool in the middle of summer. I'd definitely recommend it to groups or families needing some extra space in the middle of Torino! Grazie Tommasso et Alessandra!
