Nice but needs some TLC

The proximity to the beach being a half mile walk is doable. The house is located in a nice flat residential area close to tennis courts and small park. The outside of the property needs work and was not as shown in photos. The trees are overgrown; my sister had to weed the back stone patio. That area in the photos shows a fire pit and table with benches that are not there. There were only chairs and an umbrella. There were birds flying into the windows because there are nests in the soffit. One morning we found a dead bird. The interior of the house has an open floor plan, nice for a large group. The bedrooms were a nice size however some of the bedrooms do not have mirrors which were missed. The mattresses were not so comfortable; pillows were flat. One of the bedrooms ceiling fans was not functioning due to missing paddles. When we first arrived someone bumped into the knob on the gas stove which turned on the gas. We could smell the gas, but it did not light, we discovered the starters for all of the burners were not working. We contacted the realtor immediately since we feel this was a hazard. A repair man came out the next day but did not fix the issue nor were we notified of a solution. We all just checked the stove frequently to be sure the burners were off. The wine refrigerator was not functioning, I was told they were waiting for a part. The interior was clean however many of the vents were dusty. Air conditioner units are old & not functioning at best capacity.
