Keszthely, the largest town on Lake Balaton, is 15km away. It offers a lot of attractions, a very nice beach, a really nice boulevard and of course all the necessary shopping, you can think of the holiday. There is also a hospital there. And of course a lot of gastronomy. From there, ships leave via the Balaton. In about 17km from Balatonbereny you will find the world famous thermal bath Heviz. In 20km you will find another extremely beautiful thermal bath in Zalakaros and for lovers of untouched nature begins in 15km the area Kissbalaton.
