About this property

Welcome to the Wrightwood Hideaway!

A cozy but spacious renovated 1926 vintage cabin. Only 5-10 minute walking distance from the Wrightwood village at an elevation of 5,900 feet and only a few minutes drive to Mt.High. Perfect for reading, games, puzzles, cooking, hiking, mountain biking, and of course lovely for some good old quality time! This quiet home is intended for a romantic getaway or time with family. The space
This renovated vintage cabin home definitely comes with quirks but is fully designed for function and purpose. We welcome guests who value simplicity & the experience that the mountain environment has to offer. Before booking, please take note of the following:

1. Two bedroom, one bathroom cabin with an additional updated queen sofa bed. Cozy fireplace & Kitchen.

2. Not acoustically sound between rooms

3. Open Layout

4. Pet friendly (XL Doggie door provided to the fenced-in backyard)

5. This cabin is 98 years old & it is a family home.

6. Parking for 2 vehicles only

7. Adventure parking pass available with your reservation

8. Contact us ASAP if anything comes up with the house or if it is an urgent matter.

Kitchen, bathroom. Bedrooms, living room, hall closet, propane BBQ, sensor kitchen faucet, sound machine, forced heat, wall heater, heated toilet seat, and two portable heaters for maximum warmth! Portable A/C & fans for spring & summer months, Fiber Optic Wifi, 65” Smart TV, Disney +, Hulu, Netflix, ESPN + & more. Two outdoor decks and a small fully fenced back yard with mountain vibes. Pet guests have outdoor access via the X-large dog door on the backyard door.

*Washer and dryer available (only upon request.)

Guests have full access to the property excluding the attic, shed, lower bedroom closet, and crawl space below.
Other things to note
Check in is after 3pm & check out is 11am due to the extensive cleaning protocols.

This home is near the highway. There are times when you may hear traffic driving by, the town is so very quiet otherwise. We offer a sound machine if needed.

Pets: We are a pet-friendly home, however, we ask that you clean up after your pet outside. Please do not allow the pet on the couch or beds.

During winter months:
At certain times, snow chains will be required. Snow removal at the home will be discussed privately if needed during your stay.

We’ve poured our hearts and souls into this place and are looking for guests who can appreciate the beauty of simplicity and function.

Perfect cozy cabin

It’s a lovely cabin with everything you need. Everything was very easy and accessible. Host is very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it for families with children. I look forward to staying here again. Thank you! :)

Cozy cabin

Great little place with tons of charm. Fireplace and heated toilet seat were the winners. Backyard was a little smaller than we hoped...but all in all...great place.

Cozy space, close town & ski resort

Stayed one night for snowboarding at Mountain High. Everything I needed was there including firewood. The kitchen is updated with everything needed to prepare a meal. There is a crock pot & blender too! Super clean and cozy spot to stay in.

Family vacation

This was probably the best house we have rented so far for our family. So much attention to detail was done by the hosts and you can tell they really care that you are comfortable during your stay. The house it not huge but we could fit our family of 6 comfortably (we had 5 of us stay this time but if my husband was there it would have been fine). Loved the balconies and the cute fenced yard. My kids all said the beds were comfy and the main bed was SUPER comfy for me! This is in an adorable neighborhood with a cute downtown 1/2 a mile from the cabin (we googled it). Wish we could have spent more time but hopefully will have a reason to visit again in the future!

This home was purchased when Robin was a single momma of two sweet girls 7 years ago and this was where we called home for four of those beautiful years.
