The Historic Doctor John Ellis home was built in 1886 and was featured on "Ghost Hunters" in 2008. It is located on the historic loop just a short, 5 minute drive and 15 min walk from downtown. This amazing 3rd floor apartment has its own entrance with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a living space to gather, amazing views, and 1 parking space. This is 3rd floor apartment up a steep set of stairs. See pictures. A quiet retreat, but still close to all the fun! Hosted by the owners of Eureka Springs Coffee House.

Beautiful home!

Darling Cottage in Eureka

The cottage has been renovated with taste. The decor was very nicely updated with calm colors and plush decor. It was situated by the historic Crescent Hotel in a lovely well landscaped neighborhood. It was an easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants. It was very quiet with good views of the Arkansas forest. Great for a girlfriends’ getaway.

Beautiful getaway

Definitely want to come back! It’s a beautiful old house, the third floor has plenty of room for a family. My boys (ages 10-22) were too rowdy, and Heather very politely let us know through text. I would love to stay again, just my husband and myself.

A step back in time with a modern twist.

Dr. Ellis home is located diagonally from the famous Crescent Hotel. The 3rd floor suite has its own entrance allowing privacy. The suite provided plenty of room with a living area, 2 full bedrooms, large hall, powder room, and bath. Enjoy the comfortable decor with a touch a the 1940 era. Our family truly enjoyed our stay there. The accommodation are wonderful and perfect. The only caution is the narrow staircase leading to the 3rd floor.
