Light, spacious for our group of 7. Nicely appointed, perfect location for kids and amenities. Beach chairs and boogie boards were a huge plus.

Great place family vacation

We absolutely loved our stay! The condo was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our family, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The location couldn’t have been better—just steps from the beautiful beach and close to great restaurants, shops, and everything we needed. It truly felt like the perfect Hawaiian getaway. We loved being able to spend the day at the beach and then easily walk to dinner in the evening. The condo had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable family vacation. We would absolutely stay here again and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

Memorable Honua Kai Family Getaway with Some Maintenance Issues

This was our second time booking through KBM Resorts at Honua Kai, and we absolutely love them\! The resort is fantastic, and we specifically chose a ground\-floor unit, which was perfect for our family\. We did run into a few maintenance issues this time around, including a broken freezer motor, some washer and dryer problems, and uneven air conditioning between the rooms\. KBM was quick to respond and help, although a few things didn't work quite right afterward\. What really stands out is how wonderful KBM is to work with. They brought us ice every day, surprised us with little treats, and were always so friendly and accommodating whenever we needed anything\. Their customer service really is top\-notch\! Overall, we had an amazing vacation\! We had a few more hiccups with the unit compared to last year, but nothing that can't be fixed\. We would absolutely book with KBM again and again, and honestly, we'd probably stay in this unit again too\. We love Honua Kai and can't wait to come back\!

Very pleased!

The resort was perfect for our family of eight. We had six adults and two kids, and we never got bored or tired of doing anything. The swimming pools were perfect for the little kids and the beach right off of the resort was perfect for snorkeling or swimming and laying out on the beach. Our rooms had every amenity that we could ever need. We even had some maintenance issues that occurred during our stay, and the service team was very responsive and attentive and got those minor issues fixed very quickly. I would recommend this to anyone.

The best family resort!

The property is absolutely gorgeous. The pools and hot tubs are perfect and so fun for kids. The beach access is so nice. The rooms are clean and quiet and huge. Lots of amenities. Loved having the ability to do our laundry and cook. Everyone is so nice and helpful. We can’t wait to return!

Don’t stay anywhere else!

We have stayed here multiple times in the past. This time we decided to try some place different, it was terrible and uncomfortable for our family. Even though we paid to stay at the other place we forfeited that money and paid to come here for the remainder of our trip. Best place to stay on the island!!! We will come back again and again!

We loved our condo. It's very spacious, comfortable and great location on the ground floor with direct access outside. We were a party of 8 (4 adults + 4 kids). It had beach chairs and kids beach toys.

Great unit and location

We’ve stayed at this resort before but looked for a ground floor unit this time. So easy to go out to the pool from the patio. The grassy area was a great spot for the kids to play while. Loved the resort and amenities, there’s also a gym just down the hall. The unit was set up well for our needs. We had an issue the washer but it was addressed immediately. Would choose this unit again.

Not a great experience at all

Nothing went right from the beginning. 1. Check in experience horrible. Check in time 4pm. We arrived at 11 am. requested if an early check in can be allowed since we had kids. that was not available. We waited till 4pm and then went to unlock the door and it didnt work. Later after follow up, the door code worked but the cleaners were in the home and doing the cleaning. We waited outside till 5.15 and went in after the cleaning was done.. But hardly any cleaning was done properly. 2. not enough utensils. 3. Bathroom door locks were not working. 4. Dishwasher wasnt working at all. After complaint, they replaced it with a new unit. 5. Vacum cleaning wasnt working. 6. A/C was broken.. and was leaking from cealing. We had to call for every issues we find and they fixed it for some. But then we have not gone their to find out the property issues. It impacted our vacation time.. and was not enjoyable at all.. Will be expressing our dissatisfaction to VRBO and to host and ask for refund.
