Bungalow Armonia - Perfect Getaway!

Armonia is Blue Surf Sanctuary's most requested bungalow. It's privacy, as well as, king and a queen size bed. Positioned at the north end of the property, Armonia has both a garden and pool view allowing for various tropical bird sightings, watching playful squirrels scurry up and down the palms and the extra large iguana perched in the sunshine. All of this beauty can be taken in from the comfort of custom teak chairs under a covered balcony. A fresh breeze allows the palm tree above to provide cool air and comfy shade.

The spacious bathroom has a large, walk-in hot water shower — perfect for the two of you, can you say "romantic"? — a beautiful hand carved sink and ample storage for your toiletries.

Our beautiful pool is literally steps away, which is perfect for an afternoon post-surf swim or a quick way to cool off after enjoying the hot, tropical sunshine on the pool deck. The teak lounge chairs stationed under a large umbrella provide ample shade to take a relaxing siesta– you ARE on vacation, you know or read that long overdue romance novel. If you forgot a book, or speed read through your's we have a small library of books you are welcome to enjoy.

The world-class surf at Playa Santa Teresa is only 100m away. This is perfect if you want to jump out of bed at sunrise for dawn patrol or paddle out to the line up for one of the most amazing sunset surf you will ever experience. Blue Surf Sanctuary has an upscale surf school located on property and just steps from the beach with experienced instructors available to teach all levels. We have the latest new equipment for teaching the 2022 season, bring your own board or rent one we will provide local insight to some of the best surfing in the world.

If you prefer to keep all activities on land, we can help arrange yoga, massage, ATV excursions, horseback riding or the most amazing dining experiences.

This spectacular paradise is within walking distance to a delicious, healthy cafe for breakfast or lunch, beach-side yoga and one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Our boutique hotel is well established having greeted guests from all over the world since 2008. We were one of the first and remain one of the best in Santa Teresa. This is such a beautifully maintained property. The rooms are perfect… clean and comfy. Yes, it is loud by the road but you are so tired from all the exploring it doesn’t even matter!!

Amazing stay!

The blue surf sanctuary was amazing. We had a rental car which was nice as it is a bit of a walk from the center of town. During our stay we ate at OSA and Rocamar which were delicious. The traffic was loud coming from the road.

We had an excellent stay! We are an older couple and my husband gets up at 5 am daily for his coffee and we were not sure about the shared kitchen and it turned out to be one of our favorite things because we were able to meet and socialize with so many other people from all over the world! We had some chairs we could use to carry to the beach, the beds were the most comfortable we had on our entire 3 week stay in Costa Rica. Our host was fabulous and she did everything she could to help us have an amazing time. The traffic from the street takes a little getting use to, but so many other benefits outweighed that. The beach is like a two minute walk away and a fun bar sits right on the beach near the bungalow’s. It’s a wonderful place and we will be back!

Leah and Toro are some of the nicest and down to earth people you’ll meet. The place is perfect and just what I was looking for. A great cafe is next door and down the street a stones throw away is a restaurant right on the beach with great food and drinks. It’s possible to stay here and never have to go anywhere else if your plan was to only surf. I’ll definitely stay here again!

We have been upgrading and renovating the property in 2022 to enhance our guests experience. New kitchen suppliers, newly renovated pool, all new bedsheets and towels as well as upgrading our surf inventory.

Location, location, location - we are so close to one of the best surf breaks in Costa Rica and being able to walk down to the beach with your surf board is truly what makes our property so unique.
