Beautiful home in Pigeon Cay 100 steps away from the Caribbean!

Spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom holiday home. Gourmet kitchen with premium cookware, convection oven, gas range, Beverage/wine cooler, open living and eating area. Generac Generator on the property so you will have a seamless power visit. There are restaurants up and down the Island which we will list for you in the house manual. The Island is magical and the night skies are unbelievable. Enjoy the screened in porch with a BBQ overlooking the ocean. Ocean toys and Kayak/Paddle boards!

We had the most wonderful stay at Kathleens villa! There has been so much attention to every detail of this home. We slept with the doors open protected by the screened porch! It was wonderful to hear the waves all day and night. We can hardly wait to return to this fabulous villa!!!!!

We had an absolutely incredible stay on Cat Island and can’t recommend this place highly enough. From the very beginning, communication with the owner was excellent. Kathleen was immediately available for even the smallest questions and made everything feel easy and welcoming. The house itself was amazing...spotless, comfortable, and stocked with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. The beach area is fantastic, with beautiful soft sand and some great snorkeling right off the shore. One of the highlights of our trip was how friendly and welcoming the neighbors were. They even invited us over for drinks and yard games, which made the experience feel even more special and personal. We absolutely can’t wait to come back!

we are used to traveling in the caribbean There we came across a pearl, Katleen’s villa Superb location, enough space, the beach 50 meters away.. we met jack the neighbor, who pointed us to the fisherman for lobsters, delicious.. it's on we will come back one thing, watch out for the numerous holes on the road!!! merci encore eric et nadine

We live in Utah and love our home on Cat Island. I lived in our home on Cat Island for 14 months which gave me a tremendous insight on the home's issues and would not have had that sort of knowledge unless someone was living in the house full time. I love projects and I also have experience and a love for creative landscaping which you will see if you stay in our house on Cat. Beautifully landscaped on two acres with amazing plants which will grow in to a magnificent gem on the island.

Why they chose this property

The neighbors in Pigeon Cay are all one of a kind. Genuinely kind, helpful, fun people. The Beach on Pigeon Cay is gorgeous. Located centrally on the island, you are not so far from the airport, groceries, the north and the south end. The view of the Caribbean is stunning. Great swimming and snorkeling right out the beach side of the house.

What makes this property unique

The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden maintained weekly so things don't get out of hand. The groundskeeper is unobtrusive and you'll always be notified of his schedule and hardly notice he is there - once a week at most. Because the deck is double screened in, you will have no mosquito or no see ums to pester you. In fact, the deck is so well screened in, the back doors to the outside can be left open to hear the ocean from inside the house with no pests. All appliances are new - water heater, whole house water filtration system with UV light means all water is fit to drink from out of all faucets. Brand new Refrigerator, new washer and dryer. Beverage cooler is new for wine or any other beverage. Cistern has been rebuilt as there was a leak found during my habitation of the house so enjoy the marvelous purified rain water on your skin and drinking/cooking with. Septic system has been rebuilt just make sure nothing but toilet paper goes down the toilet. Extra reinforcements under the house has been installed for wind and rain force. New roof over the beach side of the house as there was substantial leaking - no more! There are flotation rafts and beach chairs for your enjoyment. New bed furniture has been brought in. New kitchen table, bar and office desk for your needs.
