Such a cute place! Owners were great to work with. They responded to our concerns and were easy to communicate with. It's in a great location to go visit the Heber Valley Railroad and The Homestead Crater, they are close by. We had a wonderful time here.
Cozy country setting. I was worried if my dogs would leave the chickens on the property alone. I made sure to keep a good eye on them just in case.
I was able to hold Bunco with 12 lady's and it worked out great! Would definitely recommend this rental:)

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Confusing listing
All was well except for sleeping arrangements. The description of the property lists a room with 4 twin beds; however, 2 of the 4 are trundles. We are not large women, but they were too small and for us, not practical to use. It soured the trip. The photo of the listing shows only twins while the caption mentions the trundles. It doesn't give their size which is just right for kids.
In my perspective, the owner was disingenuous.
7 adults stayed in this house for 5 nights and it was more than enough space for us! The location was perfect for a wedding we had at Timber Moose Lodge. We were also close to restaurants, bars, grocery store, and the interstate to travel to Park City and Salt Lake City. Deer Creek was just down the road as well. We woke up to wildlife in the back yard while sipping our coffee on the back deck enjoying the views each morning. Lindsay and her husband were very responsive and attentive if there were any questions or issues that came up during our stay. We would definitely stay here again if traveling through Heber City!
We stayed at this beautiful country home for 5 days with my family. The house was located in a quiet, rural area, with fields and views of the valley in the back and a horse corral across the street in the front. The property was large and well-maintained, with plenty of space for my granddaughter and two labs to run and play. The house itself was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing vacation.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the backyard. There was a deck with a gorgeous view of the countryside, perfect for relaxing with a book or taking in the sunrise. There was also a large lawn and fire pit, which we all enjoyed.
The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed during our stay, and made it known they were always available to answer any questions we had, though we had none.
Overall, we had a wonderful time at the MountainVale Stuga. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation.
This is our 9th year coming to Utah. Our host Lindsay was very sweet. Check in/out was easy, the property was just awesome. Our dogs had a great time in the large back yard. We would love to come back here again :)
House was clean and stocked. Great location for our family to spend a weekend together. Host was great at communicating. Only downside was we thought check out was at 11, and found out it was at 10. We wouldn’t liked a later checkout.
