About this property

A simple stone wall construction, built by my grandparents for silkworm breeding, a traditional occupation of many local residents practiced until the ‘60s.
Recently partly reconstructed and renovated and turned into a country home with great attention paid to its “identity” and environment in particular.
An ideal place for those who cherish nature at its most unspoilt condition. Hidden in vine and olive grooves, connected with the main road by two-hundred meter dirt track, 3km from Sikia main beach and 1km from the village of Sikia.

Casa carina con molti problemi

La casa è veramente graziosa e ben arredata ma purtroppo in una settimana di soggiorno abbiamo avuto molti problemi..- posizione troppo isolata (senza auto impossibile fare tutto) _ piano superiore caldissimo e fornito solo di un ventilatore insufficiente (impossibile dormire) _ nel nostro periodo la casa era piena di insetti e nonostante l'intervento di disinfestazione della proprietaria il problema non è stato risolto (di conseguenza la camera da letto superiore inutilizzabile e chiusa e noi per quattro giorni abbiamo dormito in soggiorno con i materassi a terra senza privacy e senza armadio) e cmq con tantissimi piccoli insetti verdi che cadevano dalle travi del tetto finendo ovunque _ un pomeriggio si è rotta la pompa dell'acqua quindi niente acqua in casa fino all'arrivo del tecnico e poi acqua marrone dai rubinetti per 12 ore. Insomma una vacanza rovinata in una casa che sembrava bella!!

Going to Sikia? Here is your place to stay!

We - a family of three - spent 12 lovely days here in June/July 2021. It's the ideal place for everybody who is looking for an extraordinary "home away from home". The house is beautifully designed and located within pure nature. Away from the crowd but everything you need is reachable within a maximum of 10 minutes: beaches, restaurants, bakeries, super markets etc. Long story short: Everybody planning to stay in the fantastic Sikia area this is the place I would totally recommend. We will definitely be back as soon as possible and will enjoy another warm welcome by Io and her mother Siriano!

Ein Traum!

Wir haben zwei traumhafte und sehr erholsame Wochen in diesem tollen Haus verbracht! Die Einrichtung ist wunderschön und der große Garten sowie die tolle schattige Sitzgelegenheit vor dem Haus bieten alles, was man für einen schönen, entspannten Urlaub braucht. Die Gastgeberin ist super nett, Wir wurden mit aller Herzlichkeit empfangen und fühlten uns so direkt wohl! In unmittelbarer Nähe (ca. 10 min mit dem Auto) finden sich zahlreiche wunderschöne Buchten, die zum Baden einladen. Vor allem für Kinder findet man hier perfekte Bedingungen. Am Strand von Sykia sowie in der Nähe gibt es zahlreiche Tavernen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in weniger als 5 min zu erreichen. Wir können das Haus nur rundheraus empfehlen und würden gerne bald wiederkommen! Vielen Dank an die tollen Gastgeberinnen!

Incantevole villa nella parte più bella della sitonia

Siamo stati una settimana (di un viaggio di 30 giorni) in questa villa e ci è rimasta nel cuore. La casa è curata e gode di una sua personalità data dal fatto che viene abitata e amata dai proprietari. È stato piacevole conoscere Io (la proprietaria) che ci ha accolti calorosamente. Ha ambienti ampi e luminosi, un giardino enorme dove i nostri figli di 6 e 11 anni amavano giocare, è adatta anche per famiglie più numerose. Ovviamente è immersa nella natura e si può godere di una pace, tranquillità privacy e relax totale Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo anche il portico ed il pergolato a colazione e cena. È un’ottima base per visitare la parte più tranquilla è autentica della Sithonia, le spiagge vicine sono molto belle e anche la vicina città di Sarti è molto bella. Sconsigliata solo a chi ama la tranquillità, altrimenti è un’ottima scelta. È stato spiacevole lasciarla!

Lovely villa in beautiful surroundings

We’ve just enjoyed a fantastic week here. The villa is in a very peaceful location and is very tastefully decorated inside - it has everything you could need and the fresh flowers are a nice touch. If you love wildlife and being surrounded by nature, you will love it here! So many insects and birds all around. There are many beautiful beaches only a short drive away, with plenty of tavernas. The owner, Io, was lovely - very welcoming and only a phone call away if you need anything. We highly recommend this villa for a relaxing break in a beautiful part of the country. Thank you Io!
