Nice home in Palazzuolo s. Senio FI

This beautiful former country house has been converted into a cozy vacation home with furnished garden and a bean-shaped pool (size 12.5 x 7.5 m / depth 0.6 - 1.4 m - heated by solar panels and whirlpool area) and is located on the green slopes of the upper Mugello area, near the village of Palazzolo sul Senio (2.5 km). The house is quite large and therefore ideal for several families or groups of friends spending their vacations together. The district is particularly suitable for hiking, road cycling or mountain biking. Here you can start directly from the house and explore the many trails that lead to quiet and unspoiled natural landscapes. Palazzuolo su Senio is one of the "most beautiful villages in Italy" and its historical atmosphere and cobbled streets, as well as the excellent gastronomy will delight you. The following specialties should definitely be tasted : ricotta and potato tortelli, tagliatelle alla Boscaiola, roast or game kebabs, "raveggiolo" (cheese) and then mushrooms, truffles and the famous Mugello IGP chestnuts! For a trip to the beautiful Florence (about 60 km) you can either take the car or take the train (from the station of Marradi 11 km away -shops of all kinds). NB: On the property there is another country house with four double rooms, two of which have private bathrooms and a shared bathroom for two other rooms. These rooms can be requested at the time of booking if the number of guests exceeds the maximum allowable capacity of the cottage ( payment on site). In this building there is a two-room apartment which is occasionally used by the janitor when he receives the guests of the house or performs maintenance work on the property.
