PARKING TIPS: The Downtown Parking Square is a free parking lot next to our place. Guests are usually able to find a spot from morning till late afternoon, but right across W. St of Franklin Rd is a big lot that has options pretty much any time of day or night. This apartment does not come with a designated parking spot, as all parking is first-come-first-serve. Our place is a short walk from any of the downtown lots. The keypad on our doors makes it super convenient to come and go as you please while you explore the city.



This loft is right above the Downtown Square Parking lot where there is free parking, but don't wait until too late, it can fill up.



The Neighborhood:

Our place is right in the heart of Downtown JC. It's super walkable and is the perfect starting point for whatever you'd like to get into. You'll definitely feel like you're in the middle of the action, but of course, that also means you might hear some noise from trains and nightlife. We think it's just part of the vibe and embrace it!



Getting Around:

Our loft is right in the heart of downtown Johnson City overlooking a breezy courtyard. We love being able to walk to the city's best restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, music venues, parks, shopping, and more! This is the perfect place to stay as you explore all that downtown JC has to offer!

Beautiful Place to Stay

We came into town for a wedding and Casablanca was perfect. Great location and lots of restaurants around. If you have small kids just make sure you know your staying down town and there is night life right outside your loft. Host was great and everything went extremely well. 5 star accommodations!

An amazing place to stay

The loft is a wonderful place. It is so spacious and very tastefully decorated. We found it to be spotlessly clean. Every last detail has been thought about and we did not need anything to enhance our stay. Right next door is lovely restaurant where we had brunch one day. We managed to park on the street outside the property during our stay. We didn’t want to leave.

Highly recommend this loft

The loft was spacious and perfect for our family. The loft is fully stocked so you literally need nothing but yourselves and some food if you chose to cook. We also ate next door at the Black Olive. The food was also very good as well. We did hear the train a few times, yet the sound machines keep us sleeping with no issues. Highly recommend for a family trip, Girls/Men's trip or an evening dinner party. We will be back for sure!

This downtown city rental is an absolute gem! The space is stunning, and huge! Much bigger than you realize until you walk up the stairs. The loft has a beautiful design and a comfortable atmosphere. The size of this rental was truly impressive and we are just bummed that we were only there for one night. We seriously talked about making another trip at some point for Johnson City specifically, partly just because of the space. The downtown location is a walk away from coffee shops, restaurants and the downtown shops. We were thoroughly impressed with this space.

Beautiful place, prime location

It was a great place to stay, just k ow that if you have more than 6 you will be sleeping on couches or air mattresses. The location is prime as far as location to bars and restaurants, but not prime if you plan on going to bed before 3;00am. It may have been an unusual night, but there was a lot of chaos going on out side of the place. It was a bit alarming. But the place was clean and a great space for friends to spread out and catch up.

Beautiful but the smell!

This property is beautiful & sunny. My biggest complaint was the horrible musty smell, it hit you in the face as soon as you opened the door. For me it’s hard to enjoy anything when there’s a smell like that. There is also a night club where there was yelling & fighting from 1:30-3am. Not fun. If personally would not recommend this place.

This little Gem is amazing!! Absolutely JUST as pictured. The parking lot in back had some questionable temporary tenants on the side walk.....no responsibility of owner. Left ALL belongings other than a carry-on in the car (fingers crossed) and NO PROBLEMS! My Grandson enjoyed the "hidden entryway" into the loft. The owners of this home take much pride in their space! It is exquisite!

Beautiful Apartment

Loved the apartment! Clean and beautifully decorated. It was also well stocked with kitchen items needed for dinner preparation and a comfortable stay. The property mana get was responsive at check in and checkout times and the experience overall was great! The location is convenient to several restaurants and bars. It is located near a 24 hour gym which did get loud at some weird hours but overall was not a problem. There was also a decent amount of homeless people near the apartment each evening and morning during my comings and going’s. This is clearly not an issue or fault of the property owner just something encountered that was unexpected and worth noting.

This experience was the absolute best we have had! We travel a lot to places like Hawaii, NYC, LA, and more. None of the places we have stayed even come close to this experience. I am usually pretty critical of our accommodations but there was nothing I could even begin to complain about here. They were accommodating, professional, and left no stone unturned. None of us wanted to leave! If you go to Johnson City or the surrounding area you will not find anything close to this. We were there for a family reunion and several people came over. They were astounded at how amazing it was! I cannot say enough. This is the best place we have ever stayed, in every respect. Period!

This is a great property and nicely appointed and very easy to find. The part we found odd was the requests for being quiet at this property after 9 PM. Between the trainS whistle blowing at all ours of the night, the bar closing across the street and the courtyard packed with people who were all screaming at all hours of the night.. The kicker was the 24 hr gym right underneath you. Not so fun to hear them all grunting and groaning as they throw the 300 lb weights to the floor. we honestly thought someone was breaking in..If you are looking for restful evenings this isnt the place for you. If your looking for a great place to crash and party then you have picked the perfect place.. Again, very nice place BUt id say 25-35 is your age group

Great apartment inside but…

Casablanca was in a convenient location with wonderful amenities for our weekend visit to Johnson City, except when we arrived there was a pile of poop next to the front and only entrance and it was never handled by the owners. Or when the restaurant next door had a club night with a DJ until 2:30am or there were people using the gym located directly below the apartment at 11pm despite Casablanca encouraging 9pm quiet time. Open, clean, gorgeous layout in the apartment was perfect for hanging out in, especially with kids. Other than that, I’m not sure that I would recommend this rental for families with younger kids. Lots of glassware in the kitchen and lots of outside street noise during the night between the local bars and the train.
