This is a complete island all to yourself in the middle of Portage Lakes main chain of lakes. This vintage 1918 log cabin is perfectly preserved and has a full kitchen with everything you need to cook including coffee, tea and much more. Sleeps four comfortably with one private room. Enjoy the outdoor covered pavilion with a custom fire pit for cooking over a wood fire and gas barbecue. Bring your boat and dock it on site. With over 37 miles of shoreline enjoy the Beach, Restaurants, Popular Night Clubs, Winery and many other water activities. One of the best fishing holes in Ohio just feet from your door. Don't feel like cooking enjoy the large number of close by restaurants. The large covered pavilion will allow you to enjoy the outdoors even in the rain. When you open the door and enter the cabin it's like going back to 1917 with authentic period decor complimented with modern amenities. This is not a glam experience this is real old school 1918 experance. Reconnect with nature and one of the most unique getaway experiences available. Walk back in time on your own private island centrally located in the Portage Lakes Ohio. The cabin is not suitable for children. We can have firewood delivered per your request and highly recommended. A 120 volt outlet is available for EV charging. As the world has changed this island is a time capsule that has been preserved to bring back a connection to the past. Be assured we will treat you to a clean, well managed stay that you will remember for years to come.

The feeling of my grandmother who was born in 1897 making a cherry pie from scratch in an original cabin. Or just enjoy the lake and outdoors in a unique island property that has hart and soul.
