Come unwind at our beautiful home, located in the Texas Hill Country on 25 acres. Not only do we offer privacy, but the relaxation and comfort that you, your family and friends deserve. Along with breathtaking views, from nearly every room in the home, we offer fishing in our fully stocked pond, basketball, washer boards, swing set and even a porch swing for you to relax in. We have pet goats and donkeys that the children can feed. We pride ourselves in being a "Family Friendly" property. For those interested in Texas style "Bar-B-Q", we have a large custom built-in smoker, a covered outdoor kitchen and an oversized fire pit (with wood provided).
Should you choose to venture off of the property, you are within minutes of floating the Guadalupe river, attending an amazing concert at "Whitewater" or visiting historic "Gruene Hall", touring the Canyon Lake Gorge, spending the day at Schlitterbahn Water Park, Sea World or Six Flags San Antonio. There are many area boutiques, antique shops and even the San Marcos Outlet Mall. If you are a 'wine connoisseur'', enjoy one of the many area wineries which are only a short drive away.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Put all used linens (sheets, towels, etc) outside the utility room. Turn off A/C and/or Heater prior to leaving. If checkout instructions are not followed, security deposit is in jeopardy.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
COMPLETED "RENTAL AGREEMENT" MUST BE RETURNED WITHIN 48 HOURS OF BOOKING. IF NOT RECEIVED, CHECK-IN WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. NO DAY GUESTS ALLOWED!
"Check-out Instructions" and "House Rules" must be followed. Any additional cleaning expenses will be withheld from your security deposit.
DO NOT use charcoal in the water tray below the meat grids in custom smoker. If BURN BAN is in effect, no open fires, including fire pit and smoker.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is perfect for families of all ages. It is a great spot for a family-oriented getaway. It is peaceful, safe and surrounded by nature with lots of wildlife. The kids enjoyed feeding the goats and donkeys, in addition to playing on the playground equipment. Very beautiful view on the balcony overlooking the property and lake in the background. We even caught a few fish in the pond.Our host, Jill, was amazing. We will definitely come back.

This home was beautiful and the it had such a peaceful relaxation. It had lots of games for the kids and we all enjoyed our stay! Jill was amazing to communicate with, she responded very quick with questions I had and was extremely sweet! 1000/10 recommend! Breath taking views, easy check in, and lots to do with the family. The Most Ideal Getaway

We had the best stay at Jill’s property. The house and lake was beautiful! We enjoyed paddle boarding on the lake, running, biking, and walking the trails, and feeding the goats! Jill was wonderful and checked in on us, but also gave us our space. The whole family really enjoyed this vacation and we will definitely be back!

Restful and fun family getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful and the house very comfortable. It was well stocked and very clean. The owner made us feel very welcome and answered all our questions before and during our stay. Our three year old loved exploring the lake, feeding the goats, and playing on the playset. It exceeded our expectations and is the best VRBO experience we have experienced. We will definitely be back!

The house comfortably slept 10 and has ample entertainment areas. The back deck is great for evening entertainment and the wildlife in the area is everywhere. We all loved the place....so much so that we never left it except to go to once to the grocery store! The house has everything you need and it's first class! The grounds are lovely. The owner made us feel so welcome! We especially loved Lola.....the little chihuahua who came to visit every day!

Originally from Houston, my family and I moved to Austin in 1980. After our children graduated from Lake Travis High School, we decided that a move to the country was in order. So in 2000, we built our home on Canyon Lake and by 2001, were full time residents. Once settled in, I began to adopt farm animals and from there it has grown by leaps and bounds. Who would think that a city girl would become a farm girl?

Why they chose this property

"El Rancho Regenia" was originally built as my parents retirement home in the mid-80's. After my parents were gone, I was fortunate enough to purchase this beautiful property, that meant so much to them, and expand the farm. From the time it was constructed, our family and friends have enjoyed this very special place on Canyon Lake. "El Rancho Regenia" holds many precious memories of when our children were young and the times we spent here. We are now making many new memories with our own grandchildren in this very special place.

One of my greatest joys is the ability to share "El Rancho Regenia" with wonderful families who want to experience a little bit of the country life while enjoying the company of family and friends. My hope is that this will continue for many years to come...
