Quiet, very clean and very well maintained. Enjoyed quiet morning drinking coffee and relaxing and quiet nights sitting and listening to nature and talking. HIGHLY recommend this place. Would definitely stay there again!

Hi Allen, we are so glad to hear you enjoyed your time. We can’t wait to have you back!
This is the best cabin stay we have ever had! The owners go above and beyond to make sure you have what you need. We had such a wonderful time with our kids! Everything is so clean and beds are comfortable.
I am so sorry to hear you had issues with the showers. I wish you would have reached out during your stay so we could have remedied any issues. I promptly had someone go and check on the showers and both have functioning hot water so I am not sure what happened. We were also personally at the property 2 days before you and both showers had hot water as well. I do apologize and truly wish you would have reached out so we could have assisted.
This was a great place to go for the much needed quiet and solitude that hearts needed. The cabin was so nicely decorated and cozy. The week we went it rained almost every day but we could enjoy the outside on either the front or back covered porch. And even with the rain there was no mosquitos or flys, no humity to speak of. The long driveway was an adventure but quite manageable even in our small sedan. Our host was really open and friendly and provided everything we needed for a beautiful stay. Thanks again!

I'm so happy you enjoyed your stay and made the best of the rainy days! The porch is a great place to enjoy watching the rain! One of my favorites. Thanks for staying!
This cabin was very cozy, clean, and comfortable. The owners thought of everything you would need to have a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable, kitchen had nice appliances and cookware, Smart TVs in every room, great water pressure in showers, etc...

Thank you so much for the detailed review! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and found everything comfortable! We’d be happy to have you back!
The Den was a great starting point for all our activities and a welcome retreat at the end of each day. We appreciated so many aspects here, including but not limited to: various appliances, luggage racks, toiletries, fire pit, sky lights, the portable cooler, and comfortable beds.

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay and that the Den was equipped with needed amenities! We’d love to have you back.
The rooms were very clean, beds made neatly and super comfortable. I feel that the driveway needs to be in the description, if it and I missed it, I apologize. However, if it isn’t, there is a moderately steep climb in a curve going left that my 2500 even seemed to have slight difficulty making, much less nearly being too big to even fit in the narrow driveway. Only other gripe is, and I know they are apart of nature, but if the front and back porch sitting area are going to be listed as amenities, then guests should feel comfortable sitting in those areas and not feel frightened by spiders. Every way you turned was a spider. Some you can tell that have been there awhile as the webs they formed were immaculate and undisturbed. Also while I was cooking, a roach fell on me from the ceiling, other than that the kitchen area was very nice with everything you need to cook and all utensils were clean. I would definitely book again and I do recommend this cabin.

Thank you for your feedback James. The driveway has never posed an issue in the past and has been navigated by cars small to large and even with some pulling trailers which is why we don’t have details about it in the listing. That to say I apologize you found it challenging. The only cars I don’t recommend are those that have been lowered because I feel like with the flow of it they may scrape. We had a guest immediately after you but came up as soon as their stay was over and cut back some of the plants along the driveway near that curve. Perhaps that will make it feel less narrow. We also are gathering quotes to have it all re-graveled, but that will take some time. As far as the porches go there was a web or two between the two porches when we went to assess the property. While I know it’s not ideal, summertime is a very difficult season to keep them away 100%. Orb weavers in particular (which are large and unnerving) unfortunately rebuild webs overnight even if they are removed. Not that I expect guests to clean the decks but we do have a cobweb brush in the laundry room if there is an instance when one needs to be removed. I’m also sorry a bug fell on you. I can imagine that was upsetting. We do our best to treat the space inside and out to the best of our ability without causing a toxic environment for humans but sometimes they still make it inside especially with how hot and rainy it has been. Either way I apologize. My cleaner scoured the space when she cleaned and found two bugs. As mentioned above we had guests check in the same day you checked out so once they had left we personally went to assure we didn’t have an issue developing. We pulled out appliances, flipped couches, etc. We treated the property again and left even more preventative measures in place. I am glad that otherwise you found the cabin comfortable, clean and well equipped. If you ever venture back to the Smokies we’d love for you to give us another chance at providing an above average experience.
Everything was awsome house was beautiful the location was perfect if your someone who likes more seclusion and the drive to Pigeon forge and Gatlinburg are not bad at all our kids loved to play outside and we used the grill every night i would definitely stay here again!

This cabin is secluded and brings peace to one’s soul. I work six days a week, and this allowed for a very relaxing get away. They thought of the little things, and had plenty of utensils, gas for the grill, and much more. Thank you for the much needed pause on life.

This was a beautiful little cabin in the Smokies hideaway! Homey, cozy, fully stocked basic amenities, dual bathrooms and showers with courtesy amenities, every kitchen appliance you need, two queen beds with comfy pillows and comforters, chargers everywhere you look. A perfect getaway in the mountains. Far enough away from civilization for some peace away, but only a 40-min drive to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg or hiking in the Smokies!

Nice quiet, well kept with everything you need and more. We came in later than we planned and were a little worried about finding it so we sent a message to Leisy and she promptly replied with very clear instructions. We were then able to find it easily and were very pleased with our stay. I highly recommend this place. You won’t regret it.
Wonderful stay....beautifully decorated with lots of attention to detail. Most equipped kitchen we've ever had in any cabin rental. Very nice and quiet area...the fall leaves were amazing. Firepit, covered porches with the string lights...very nice touch! Host was very accomodating and friendly. Great experience!!
Dont hesitate to book this property...you wont be disappointed.

Hello! I love nature, gardening and all things sourdough! As a family we love to explore new areas, hike, camp and relax together!
Why they chose this property
We found this area while exploring Gatlinburg and fell in love with it’s peace. I grew up with a family cabin that had a level lot to play and explore and this reminded me of it so much. Close to the attractions but away from the crowds. Beautiful cabin and a useable lot!
What makes this property unique
We loved the kitchen and wood interior! Having the mountain feel without the windy steep roads and spacious lot is what sold us! We loved that it was a neighborhood but not overcrowded.
