Beautifully appointed, Cozy & Inviting. Private & quiet. Watch the whales while sipping coffee from your perched widow, or down on the "Edge" where you can fully experience the crashing waves. Skylights allow stargazing from your cozy antique, hand-made bed. Situated 5 min. from Mendocino & Fort Bragg. Great hiking trails, fun on the beach. Then come home to enjoy the ocean from the large hot tub and star gazing right from bed!

Hosts were wonderful. Hot tub wasn't working but they did their best to get it repaired and offered compensation when they could not. The room and place were cozy, clean and excellent.

This was a magnificent place to be! Quiet, remote, and what a view! The only thing I’d suggest to other renters is that it wasn’t quite as private as we were expecting. It is billed as a cottage, and apartment would have been more accurate, as it is a very small unit over the garage, and the cleaning person (who is delightful) lives just below. Just something to be aware of. It was a delightful stay nonetheless!

Myra was welcoming and gave a great tour of the property and amenities Myra left a delicious fruit tart It is a million dollar view The description of the property is a cottage with a kitchen It is a loft over a garage with a steep set of stairs and it was a kitchenette with no stove I had planned on cooking so I wouldn’t have brought the food had I known there was no stove

Secluded hideaway

Quiet and cozy location right above a secluded beach. Owners went above and beyond to ensure we had a luxurious experience. Multiple welcoming touches made the trip unique. Definitely looking forward to a return visit!

Cozy Loft

We absolutely loved staying in this cozy, comfortable loft. It was in a quiet location and had the most stunning ocean views. Our host Myra met us upon arrival in the rain as she held her umbrella. She welcomed us with a big smile and gave us a tour. I would highly recommend this peaceful retreat that sits on an ocean bluff with the most beautiful view of the beach and ocean. It was a comfortable, peaceful and a beautiful location. We will definitely be back.

Perfect getaway

We loved the privacy and the ocean views. The place is perfectly set up for a romantic getaway. We loved the hot tub, and the location is close to Fort Bragg or Mendocino. Myra is a sweetheart and took great care of us. We will be back again.

Dream location

Just enchanting. Weather was perfect, Mendocino Botanical Gardens just down the road, a secret path to the most amazing view of the ocean ever. Myra even made a wonderful fruit tart for us. Lovely spot to relax and explore.

Safe refuge from the storm

When we checked in we noticed the bed was a queen instead of a king as promised by their listing. When mentioned, the host promised she’d update the listing. We were lucky to have found this property as we were staying there during the recent deluge of rain. The property has a generator that came on automatically 3 times due to community power outages. In fact, the host was able to extend our stay as we were unable to continue due to widespread road closures. The property was small and cozy, but the views were amazing!

Beautiful spot to just sit in a chair and watch the ocean. You have a private beach. Bring a jacket. The hot tub was so nice. The view from the kitchen table was almost as as good the bluff. . Our Host was very helpful and sweet.

Perfect Place to Getaway

Perfect little paradise

We were greeted when we arrived and made to feel right at home. The location and view is breathtaking. Loft is beautifully decorated and appointed with everything we could need and thoughtful little extras. So comfortable, and clean. We loved walking around the neighborhood. We were shown a great place to watch the sunset and enjoyed the quiet little beach cove, patio overlooking the ocean and especially the hot tub!!myra and Enrique are the perfect hosts!! The whole experience made are vacation very special.

Magical Weekend at Myra's!

This cottage was the perfect place for a romantic getaway. The views were spectacular and it was a very peaceful setting-inside and out. We enjoyed waking up to the serene gardens in the front of the property surrounded by coastal trees. The property sat on a bluff overlooking the ocean-amazing sunsets, beautiful and private. There were many bird sightings (including a grey heron who visited us) and we enjoyed the nature within the area-Noyo Headlands Park, Glass Beach, and the Mendocino Botanical Gardens. Myra communicated with us throughout our stay and was a very gracious hostess. The room was decorated beautifully. Myra thought of every little detail to make our stay special.

Relaxing Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Daydreams Loft! Myra was very welcoming and gave us a tour when we arrived. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and we even had a lovely welcome/anniversary card when we arrived. 😊 The loft was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Our favorite part was hanging out on “the edge” and staring at the gorgeous ocean view - so relaxing! The hot tub was a real bonus and such a pleasure after a day of hiking. Still “Daydreamin “!

Daydream is exactly what you get from this lovely lofty cottage overlooking spectacular coast near Fort Bragg. Nestled alongside Jughandle protected wild forest in a private small community, you can walk to the beach or take a hike along the headlands to watch the sunset within 5 minutes from this cozy abode. Myra and Enrique are wonderful hosts that insure you have a comfortable stay and give you all the privacy you want. We had a marvelous time, relaxing, hiking and visiting beautiful nearby areas of Fort Bragg and Mendocino. Can’t recommended this place enough!!

We bought Daydreams 24 years ago after falling in love with the view, the climate, the people, and the beautiful surroundings. Jughandle state park on one side of our property and the ocean, accessible beach in our back yard. Beautiful sunsets and relaxed time on the "Edge".

Why they chose this property

It took us 5 years to find this home; it had to be "on the ocean"; not just a pretty view, but "on the ocean". Now, after 24years, I can't imagine living any where else. This is our little slice of heaven that gives us great joy to share it with others.

What makes this property unique

Situated exactly in the middle between Mendocino and Fort Bragg. 6 minutes to either town. Beautiful sunsets, daydream walks to the beach below or out to the point to watch the amazing sunsets & newborn seals. Daydreams practices energy-efficient living with solar energy heating for the over-sized hot tub for 24-hr use, and all electricity use in the loft, as well our houme..
