Nestled in the trees, this space is a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment above our 2-car garage with private exterior entry. Our quiet, wooded neighborhood is ideal for walking, jogging or biking on multi-use paths. Walk or bike two-thirds of a mile to the beach, or half a mile to enjoy our beautiful sunsets over the sound. You will be three miles away from the Town of Duck with its quaint shops, dining and sound front boardwalk.

Very nice accommodations, very clean. Convenient to Duck and Kitty Hawk. Enjoyed having the bikes to ride to beach. Would definitely stay again.

We like the quiet and neat place… would have liked to have a dish washer and laundry since we stayed multiple days and hit the beach daily … it would be good add on.

Girls getaway

3 generations of girls had a great long weekend get away. The apartment was cozy and clean . The neighborhood was quiet but easy to get to Beach and Duck. We had a fabulous time!

The Red House is perfect in every way! Check in is simple and easy. The place is spotless and super close to the beach as well as the sound (perfect for sunset!) The kitchen is well-stocked and has many useful appliances. We love using the two bikes provided to explore the neighborhood. Overall, the Red House is amazing and we would definitely come back :)

Hidden Gem

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was amazing and super clean. Definitely more clean than any hotel we have stayed at. The location was perfect. Approximately a 5 minute drive to the beach if you are using the passes that are provided and the same for shopping and restaurants. Our host Hennie was wonderful. Very friendly and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
