Welcome to Cody Downtown Retreat, just one block from the main street in historic Cody. Walk to local restaurants, shops, art galleries and microbreweries, then return home to your own private oasis. Whether you are heading out for a day trip to Yellowstone National Park or exploring museums and rodeos in Cody, this location makes it easy to experience the best of the area. With space for up to eight guests, two living areas, and plenty of room to gather, this home is ideal for families and groups traveling together.
Inside, you'll find character and comfort throughout. A gas fireplace, unique wood furnishings, and a newly upgraded reclining sectional in the main living room create a welcoming space to unwind. The main level features 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom with tub and shower combo. Past the kitchen and sun room, you'll find another bedroom with King bed, custom wood built-ins and a direct access to the side patio. Downstairs, the “Growler's Den” offers a second living space complete with a log style bar table, couch, and TV, plus a bonus office area with desk for remote work. A second bathroom with step in shower and a separate laundry room add convenience for longer stays.The home has central air conditioning and a portable style a/c unit in King bedroom for comfort on warmer days.

Three Nights in Cody

My family of parents and 4 twenty-something kids stayed at this house after 3 nights in Yellowstone. The size and amenities were great, especially the separate bedroom and "office space" for my son who had to work while there. It was an easy walk to downtown, museums, restaurants. We enjoyed an afternoon of corn hole in the back yard!!

This was perfect for our Yellowstone Visit

We had a big road trip planned for Dinosaur National Monument, Grand Teton, and Yellowstone National Park. This was the perfect place for our Yellowstone portion of our trip! It's not too far from the park and was within walking distance of downtown Cody. The beds were spacious, the fenced in back yard was perfect for our energetic three year old and we really enjoyed our stay! We would gladly recommend this place!

What a charming and comfortable home

This place has it all! Comfy beds, clean rooms and plenty of space. The yard is fantastic, and we were actually sad that we only used it very briefly. There are 3+beds upstairs ( the plus is a loft set up in the back bedroom) . Had a fireplace, and full kitchen too. Plus a laundry room for longer stays. If I’m ever in Cody again, I’m definitely going to be back.

Pros and Cons

The property manager was helpful and quickly responded to our questions. The house had a lot of furniture, decorations, and fake plants which made areas seem smaller and cluttered. There were 5 external doors which provided a small concern for children. The back yard was great for the kids to play and the location was convenient for walking around downtown Cody.

A nice clean property with great outdoor and indoor amenities. My granddaughter loved the little private hideaway bed. Nice location close to everything in Cody. Will rent again if back in area.

2022 Yellowstone/Teton Park Trip

Property is as advertised, large back yard with furnished patio and grill. Three bedrooms and one bath on main level. One bedroom on the "first basement " level. Second bathroom, laundry and entertainment room in basement. Timely response to any question you may have. We did have one individual in a wheelchair, there are no ramps but there are only a few steps to enter the house
