Princeton memorial service

Property was clean and there was plenty of bed space. However, the unit is set up very poorly so the room with the most space and beds was inaccessible for most of our group. The spiral stairs to the top large space are very narrow and challenging to get even a small suitcase up into the room. The stairs also pose a challenge for tall people as it was very easy to hit your head on the edge of the open stairs if you were not paying attention. The air conditioner worked very well on the first night but that was all. Was pretty warm the rest of the time. The outside of the property was very poorly kept. Front had dead trees and piles of dead leaves right in front of the space available to park. Neighborhood was not very clean and would not recommend being out alone at night. I would not rent this place again.

For the stay and location

We came with a 8 year old and 7 month old and arrived on a Friday evening. Check in was not convenient for us. The generated Vrbo entry email was blank on entry code. Tried to call the owner. Person picked up and then hung up. Repeated calls went to voice mail. Moved to texting. Got the code. But person initially forgot to mention in the original reply to include the # key after the code. With tired kids and family after travel, it was not a good start. Came in and place was nice. Had to use cooktop for baby’s food. Kept getting sparks on the gas cooktop. Called property manager. She was prompt and helpful. Got it fixed in short order but we had a non functioning cooktop and rattled nerves with continuous sparks on cooktop. Had to close cooktop for precautionary reason until service fix. We had to order out because we couldn’t cook. Beds are decent. Bathrooms are clean. There was things that we expected to be there but were unavailable. Example: hairdryer, dishwashing pods (box was empty). Figured with a weekend stay, everything would be stockedBest part of the stay: the property manager was prompt and tried to get everything corrected as soon as possible. Was very nice to us throughout and beyond our stayGreat location being in heart of Princeton and convenient
