Great place to stay

This property was very clean and very well stocked with bath and beach towels, chairs, and toys. Kitchen had everything you needed and the location was great just a 10 minute walk to the beach. Kathleen was so accommodating! We will definitely be staying again.

Host has thought of everything you could need in this house. Really well stocked kitchen. With small kids an outdoor shower would have been helpful for all the sand, but we made it work!

A wonderful house to rent in Narragansett

My husband, our adult son and daughter and I very much enjoyed our stay in this house and will definitely want to stay there again. Great Beach Vacation

My family has been coming to Eastward look for over 40 years. Had to get our own place this year for my wife and two boys. This house has everything you can imagine. Beach stuff, sports stuff, everything. It’s a close to the beach and def walkable, tad long of a walk but it’s doable. Kathleen was a great host. Vey responsive and informative. If the timing and logistics work out we will definitely stay again!

First Narragansatt Vacation

Our stay was wonderful !! Kathleen was such a great host with easy accessiblility and such a well equipped house. The beach is just over 1/2 mile walk in nice neighborhood so could go at our lesuire and not worry about parking with the 25% restriction. You ended up at the North side which is quieter and beautiful!!. Our family soo appreciated not having to pack sheets,towels,or beach gear. Wifi access was great if have to work a little . We walked and bike every day- the area and house were just beautiful. Thank you for such a relaxing vacation!!

Comfortable and convenient with all the amenities of home

This is a gorgeous property within walking distance of Scarborough Beach. There's lots of room for storage in the garage which features a second refrigerator and an amazing supply of beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, games, boogie boards, beach toys, etc.). The house is in a quiet, respectful neighborhood, and the kitchen has been recently updated with high-quality attractive appliances and stunning marble counter tops/peninsula. We had a terrific time with our kids and a 21-month old grandchild. We highly recommend this property and will seek to rent it again next summer. The property owner lives nearby and is very responsive and helpful. A perfect getaway location for us!

Nice getaway

The house has everything you need for a nice vacation. Kathleen is awesome! She answered all our questions quickly, even dropped off a blender for us as well as flashlights the day before the storm. The walk to the beach is an easy 10 minute walk & my daughter and I made lots of use of the boogie boards! The beach cart is a great way to take down all the stuff you need for the beach. We only went down very late in the afternoon because we felt there were too many people at peak hours. We did day trips to Newport and Mystic, CT. All in all, great owner & great location. Would love to return to RI as the virus put a damper on some of the plans we had (no eating out & no block island😞)

We had a wonderful week! All amenities were provided - beach chairs, coolers, beach umbrellas and household supplies! The washer and dryer certainly came in handy as well. Our family was able to enjoy all the sites, sounds and food of the area including Block Island, Narrow River, Iggys and George's. Great place for our family of five! Thank you!

Great rental

This house was perfect for our extended family's stay in Narragansett: comfortable and well laid out. It has a great yard, and we loved our breakfasts and dinners on the patio. The location is ideal--within walking distance of the beach. The house was super clean and well provisioned (including beach gear). Kathleen is fabulous, helpful and easy to work with. Perfect for a family!

Clean, well stocked and convenient. Too far to walk to the beach, but a 2 minute ride via car for drop off is doable. Quiet neighborhood. Perfect for walks or bike rides. Laundry is a huge bonus when traveling with a large family.

This house has it all

This house is as described and then some. Other than clothes and food you don't need anything else. The house was just perfect for us. Kathleen was easy to get a hold of for questions and was very accommodating. The beach is an easy walk, and the new trolley makes it that much easier to get around and it picks up right at the end of the street! I can't wait to come back.

This home has all the amenities that two families of four could ever need. The description of the home is very accurate and it's clean and well maintained. Having access to everything that Kathleen has at the house made packing that much easier. Truly a home away from home!

This was our second summer renting here. Kathleen provided everything you could possibly need; just bring your clothes and food! A ten minute walk to the beach; beach cart made it easy to transport what we needed. This is a great family home, bed and bath on first floor for grandparents and two large bedrooms and bath on second floor for the younger generation! Nice sized back yard, patio w/gas grill......a very comfortable place to be when you've had enough beach for the day. We are looking forward to returning in 2014!

Lovely.

We had a lovely week at this rental home. The house is very clean and fully stocked with everything you need to have a great vacation. We were able to walk to the beach, eat dinner outside on the beautiful patio, and use sidewalk chalk on the driveway. Having small children, we also adored the neighborhood. Our daughter could play in the park and ride her bike while being in a safe neighborhood. We look forward to staying here again next year.

Love the house!

I've stayed at this location for several summers in a row- and it's been an amazing visit each and every time! Things to do/eat: I love the proximity to the beach (a 5 minute walk) and the conveniently located tennis courts a block away. There's also delicious, yet affordable seafood restaurants with Iggy's or Aunt Carries about a mile away. A perfect walk back when you need to work off those clam cakes! Stop & Shop is a short drive if you decide to do your own cooking. The House/Host: Kathleen just remodeled the kitchen and it's absolutely beautiful. If you'd rather grill outside there's a nice, new patio set and spacious backyard. We use the yard a lot for frisbee, badminton and wiffle ball. The beds are very comfortable! Kathleen is fantastic to rent from. She's very helpful and only a phone call away. The house is stocked with everything you need- even air hockey, books and games for the occasional rainy day. I highly recommend!

We keep coming back!

Very clean and well kept. Comfortable beds. Kitchen has lots of pots, pans and dishes. Washer and dryer are fairly new and work well. Nice patio off the back with chaise lounges and outdoor dining table and chairs. BBQ grill. Easy walk to Scarborough. The house even has a wireless connection. There is a park with a playground within walking distance. Good neighborhood for walking or jogging. The owner is great to work with.

I have always lived in RI, and I love the fact that RI has so much to offer in one small state. The beaches here are beautiful, and very accessible. In fact, Scarborough Beach is walking distance from my beach house!
I presently live in Coventry, RI. I am close enough that I am readily available to you, if you should need anything, or have a question. I am always just a phone call away!

Why they chose this property

When my children were younger, I rented in this area for 2 weeks, every summer, enjoying a vacation by the beach. One week I would rent with family members and the second week my children and I rented with friends. It was so much fun! I bought this house when my daughter attended URI, and she lived here during her 4 years of college. I continue to have wonderful times, and special memories here, with friends and family. I get to share this house with my daughters, my sisters, and my nieces and nephew. It is a great place to spend time together!

What makes this property unique

I love the yard that this house has. It is so nice to relax in a lawn chair, sitting under the birch tree, in the back yard.
I have had many projects going on, over the years, updating the house. The kitchen and downstairs bathroom have been the most recent project, and they came out beautifully. What a challenge, to get the work done after renters moved out in May, and before summer renters arrived in July!
I try to think of what I would need and want, if I were staying here, and to make sure that you have everything here, that you need, to have a wonderful vacation.
