About this property

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo sleeps 6 with 2 queen beds and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. This unit features a private balcony with beautiful slope views and private grill for guest use. From the kitchen to the bathrooms, the entire unit features updated hardwood floors and granite countertops. Oro Grande is nearly equal distance from River Run Village and the Mountain House Base Area, and a short drive from Arapahoe Basin. Oro Grande Lodge also offers shared amenities, including an indoor pool and hot tub.

Entryway offers convenient storage for your gear as you come and go with a storage bench, hooks and closet. The living area features a Smart TV, surround sound system, queen-sized sleeper sofa all next to a beautiful gas fireplace. Additional sheets and blankets provided in the closet. The large sliding glass doors allow plenty of natural light, and beautiful slope views with a private grill for guests to enjoy.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home. The dining area comfortably seats six with two additional seats at the breakfast bar. Down the hall is the full bathroom with a shower/tub combination. All bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The master bedroom features a Queen size bed and a flat screen TV. The en suite bathroom has a single sink vanity and a shower/tub combination. The guest bedroom also features a Queen size bed and has a flat screen TV with bathroom access just across the hall.

**Please note that we have a minimum age requirement. To reserve this vacation rental, the paying guest must be 26 years of age or older. This property also requires a minimum of 2 nights to be reserved. If you reserve less than 2 nights you will be contacted and required to either lengthen your stay or cancel your reservation. Stay close to the chairlift

The apartment was very nice, well equiped and as described, only a bit too hot. The pool and hot tub were great and it has indoor parking. Walking distance to the Peru Express chairlift if snowboard you can do it in ten minutes. With ski boots you would probably prefer the short drive. Overall a great experience and I would recommend it.

Nice, but should be more for the price

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was clean and the main areas spacious. The bedrooms were a bit tight and we could not use any closet space because they were also packed with stuff. I liked having two bathrooms, but there were *just enough* towels for everyone and not enough for pool and showering for our party of 5. The main problem with the room was the heat. It was over 75 when we got there but the thermostat was set to zero. The guest book said there'd be a nest thermostat but there wasn't. The owners did send maintenance to check it out but they said there was nothing wrong. It just made it hard to sleep, impossible to enjoy the fireplace. Two of the bedroom windows could not be opened to help cool it down. The kitchen was decently stocked, but just one days worth of coffee. That was fine because we brought coffee, but the filters were the wrong size and the pot kept overflowing. It was just okay and with only two real beds in tight bedrooms, and few extras, a late check in and early check out, not to mention having to take out trash and do dishes at check out, it just felt like the price was way more than it should have been.

VACATION RENTALS VS. HOTELS
Booking a vacation rental is like staying at the house of a friend. In this vacation rental you will experience significantly more space, privacy, or comforts that feel like home, including a kitchen and a location that is beyond what most hotels can offer. All this at a significantly lower cost than a hotel with comparable features. These benefits bring different considerations than a hotel. More privacy means that most guests do not want daily housekeeping. We offer a check-out clean and, for an added fee, mid-stay cleans. We also offer a starter supply of some consumables, including coffee, paper towels, toilet paper and more, but these items are not restocked during a stay. A kitchen allows you to make home-cooked meals. Guests will likely visit the store to purchase groceries. Self-sufficiency is key to a happy stay in a vacation rental. We do provide housekeeping and 24/7 maintenance, but this is primarily for properties in between stays. Our staff services vacation rentals across several square miles, unlike a hotel that manages a single building. We have to strike a balance between cost and service, and have found that our current system has struck this balance. Our hope is that our guests understand the difference between booking a hotel and a vacation rental. Together we can provide affordable vacation rentals and happy stays for everyone!
