Guest Access:
PARKING TIPS: The Downtown Parking Square is a free parking lot next to our place. Guests are usually able to find a spot from morning till late afternoon, but right across W. St of Franklin Rd is a big lot that has options pretty much any time of day or night. This apartment does not come with a designated parking spot, as all parking is first-come-first-serve. Our place is a short walk from any of the downtown lots. The keypad on our doors makes it super convenient to come and go as you please while you explore the city.
The Neighborhood:
Our place is right in the heart of Downtown JC. It's super walkable and is the perfect starting point for whatever you'd like to get into. Restaurants, parks, shops, bakeries, cafes, breweries, entertainment, are all within a block or two of your home-away-from-home. You'll definitely feel like you're in the middle of the action, but of course, that also means you might hear some noise from trains and nightlife. We think it's just part of the vibe and embrace it!
Getting Around:
Effortlessly traverse downtown Johnson City and its surroundings by strolling through local attractions and relying on the city's pedestrian-friendly infrastructure. For longer distances, opt for the convenience and flexibility of a car, making it easy to explore the area at your own pace.

While we welcome pets in our homes, we do charge a flat fee to cover the extra cleaning costs and resources needed to ensure the removal of pet hair and dander to the best of our ability and that the space is thoroughly cleaned for future guests. We strive to offer a welcoming environment for everyone, including those with pets, and this fee helps us keep our properties in excellent condition. We kindly ask that pets be kept off of furniture, including beds. Any evidence of pets on furniture may result in additional fines.
We allow a maximum of two (2) pets/service animals(DOGS ONLY), in our homes. All pets must be crate-trained and house-broken. We pride ourselves on impeccable cleanliness and this helps us maintain our standard for future travelers.

Please note that for reservations of 28 days or longer, the cleaning fee is increased to $150. We enjoyed a wonderful stay in this cool apartment right in the heart of downtown Johnson City! Fantastic location with easy walking to several restaurants.
This little apartment was just right for the three days we were in Johnson City. We got to visit fun downtown restaurants and it was a great “home base” moving around the city.
Clean and easy in and out access.
Good location, cute place, just a wee bit loud outside on a Friday night

Very Dishonest description of property. Listing states 900 square ft WRONG. It's barely 500 sq ft. On site parking WRONG. Washer and Dryer WRONG. Furniture very uncomfortable and not one drawer to store clothes or anything else. No TV in the only bedroom available. ONLY PROVIDED 3 Towels, 3 hand towels and 3 washcloths for ENTIRE WEEK for 2 people. I was not able to speak to The host because phone number is out of service. The apartment is located between 2 big parking lots. Very noisy on weekends especially. The interior stairwell is dirty. The kitchen was fine.
I loved that there were plants in my rooms. I had an issue that I don't need to go into and the owner responded very quickly and I was very satisfied with the resolution.
We booked this location because my son will be going to ETSU and we came into town for his orientation. We had some slight difficulty finding the location at first, but once we did everything was fine.
The apartment is clean and decorated nicely. The kitchen is well stocked and would be great if you need to cook meals. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean as well. My only suggestion would be to add a couple more towels and wash clothes, as we only had two of each. Overall this was a great location especially if you need to get to ETSU quickly as it is only a mile away. We will definitely book this location again!
We were visiting our older son, a ETSU graduate that decided to stay in JC. The unit was a great size. Allowed us to have a couple of family dinners and catch up. Kitchen had everything we needed.
Parking is a challenge, but that is typical of any downtown location. As is encounters with homeless and others coming from clubs. We NEVER felt threatened or unsafe.
Walls are thin. You can hear conversations and the television. Did not bother us at night at all. Slept great!
We will happily book again. Grest customer service!

Not worth the money
The property is not in the best section of town. There is a bar 2 doors down and you hear the patrons coming and going all night, They were fighting in the parking lot every night we were there. The sidewalk were filthy and dog waste all over the place. I wouldn't let my wife go outside by herself due to the homeless population camping out all over the place. I wish I could get my money back.
My wife and I stayed for six nights and had a great time. Thete are pros and cons to this property.
Pros
Close to several restaurants and a brewery
Owners/ management were very responise to questions etc.
Reasonably priced
Cons
Parking can be difficult at certain times, ie. Friday/ Saturday night
Some cleaning needs to be done, there were dust bunnies all over the bedroom upper walls.
Only three bath towels for the week.
The overall quality of the remodel to the building is poor, and very noticeable. Baseboard and wood trim with drip and water marks, poorly installed/ sealed HVAC ducting, uneven flooring.
The HVAC works great, but sounds like a jet engine in the bedroom.
The arm on the couch is broken and the couch is very uncomfortable.
This unit is located next to the stairs to the second floor, and people are not quiet when returning home at night.
Lastly all the windows are at seven feet off the floor, so there is no view, and you cant open them.
I know this sounds very negative, but the cumulative effect would probably keep me from staying again.
The property was great, and it was just as the pictures showed. We loved the location as it was convenient to all the things we wanted to do and the places we wanted to eat!
