Seas the Day is a Clean & Updated 1,012 sq. ft. BEACHFRONT detached single family home with Direct Beach Access in the Private 24 hour Guard Gated Community of Beach Road. At low tide, you will enjoy beach access right in your backyard. At high tide, you will sit and enjoy the feeling of being on a boat. Enjoy incredible sunsets, coastline, Catalina Island, & San Clemente Island views with beach access from the spacious covered wrap-around deck. A peaceful place to listen to the ocean waves and enjoy the ocean breezes while spotting dolphins, whales, and other sea life. The cottage offers 2 bedrooms, 1 bedroom with a queen bed, & 1 bedrooms with a full bed & 3 twin beds & office space, 1 full bath, an outdoor shower, a living room with a decorative fireplace, a dining area, laundry, & a full kitchen with a diner-style built-in nook that enjoys panoramic ocean and city views day and night. There is free private parking in front of the property. This magical cottage also has an attached garage filled with beach toys for enjoying the ocean and the nearby cities. The bike trails will take you from the property to Dana Point, San Clemente, and San Juan Capistrano. Stay a short distance to visit Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, and other nearby cities each with its own unique charm. If you are looking for adventure, you will be in close proximity to parks, fine dining, trails, events, fishing, golf, and endless opportunities for entertainment are all nearby. There is a train that runs behind the neighborhood that has a train station 1 mile away making traveling by train to Oceanside, Los Angeles, or beyond very accessible. The Free Dana Point Trolly picks up at the end of the community & connects with Free Trolleys from other nearby beach cities. Come & relax or venture out just minutes to the beaches, restaurants, parks & biking trails. Just bring your clothes & unwind because starter kits for all your needs will be included. Maximum occupancy of 6 people, 1 small dog will be considered. Cleaning fee $250 per stay & pet fee $500 per stay. Community asks all pets to be service/emotional support. Rates are seasonal. The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Check out is at 11:00 am. Please turn off all lights, heat, AC, oven, and appliances, and lock home. Please leave the key in the same place you found it.
Please leave all the linens as they are because it is easier for us to take inventory and spot treat any stains as needed.
All used towels can be left on the bathroom floor.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Owners not liable for guests or guests' property. Stays over 28 days must sign lease before stay and names of all guest must be included in the lease.
Private guard gated community. All guest must be registered to enter. They allow 1 service or emotional support dog but can not ask for proof.
Beach is directly accessible during low tide from the steps on the back deck of the home. Free driveway parking for up to 3 cars permitted.

My husband and I spent a wonderful, relaxing week at this adorable beach house in Dana Point! The house is nicely decorated, clean, well-stocked, and best of all right on the ocean. During high tide, the waves crash onto the rocks below and spray onto the open deck — exhilarating! At low tide, steps lead from the deck directly onto the sand, perfect for strolling or running along the beach. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the host is wonderful. We’d absolutely stay here again!

A beautiful, well kept house directly on the beach. The house was pristine and the follow up from Marcella was incredible. We had a wonderful time and couldn't have asked for a more thoughtful and caring host!

Super Summer!

What a delightful cottage on Southern California's coast! An experience everyone should enjoy. Waves crashing 24/7, beautiful views, fresh air. Beach Road is convenient to great restaurants and many activities just North or South along the coast... that is if you ever want to leave Seas the Day. Marcella has thoughtfully appointed the rental with everything you need to make the most of a beach vacation.

Sweet beach bungalow

Overall, the interior of the house was darling, especially the living room area and kitchen nook. The covered deck was a plus. And you can't beat the beach front location. It is a private community with 24hr security so if you're in to that, this is your spot. It has 2 bedrooms, one of which has 4 beds but only one bathroom. Not ideal for a mom and her 2 sons but we managed. The kitchen definitely needs some TLC. I bought a new keurig and water pitcher with filter as the the coffee pot and filtered water pitcher were difficult to determine when last cleaned. And several of the coffee cups looked as though they hadn't been cleaned. Having said that, the kitchen was well stocked and with a little help, could be a main feature of the house. By far, the best part of this rental, other than the location was Marcella. She was always available and quick to respond. Met me at the house on arrival to give me a tour and low down on how everything worked. She couldn't be more helpful and kind.
