Welcome to your funky, colorful three-bedroom cottage in Crystal Beach, just about a half mile from the sparkling sands. Start the day on the front porch with a cup of coffee in hand while you make plans. A beach day? Maybe some stand-up paddle boarding, sailing, or fishing? The ferry to Galveston Island is just nine miles away. When you start getting hungry, head inside to make breakfast. The well-equipped kitchen offers a full suite of appliances and plenty of counter space to whip up a snack or a full spread. Dine together at the table for eight, and then head out to explore.

When you return, spend more together time playing ping-pong downstairs, or gather in the living room to watch a little TV. Can’t agree on what to watch? No problem, there’s another full living room just adjacent to the ping-pong table. And there’s a fridge downstairs as well, so you won’t even have to go upstairs for snacks. No matter how you spent the day, you’ll drift off to sleep with one perfect vacation day behind you, and another to come tomorrow.

Enjoyed our stay! Bedroom on ground level was perfect for my grandmother/ our only complaints were that the bedroom upstairs tvs and dish washer didn’t work.

Safety hazards not fixed during stay

Cute house. First the reasons for my rating…bed coverings like comforters needed cleaning. They were a little musty and the futon had sand on it. Beds and pillows are uncomfortable. Outside area had beer and soda cans. The non smoking rental had a bucket with ashes and cigarette butts on the deck. The deck railing was unattached and multiple calls and texts with the property manager did not resolve the issue during my stay and no one has contacted me since to discuss resolution despite multiple texts. Photos and screenshots of texts can be provided. The scrabble game had no tiles to play and uno and jenga were missing cards/pieces. We paid for a late checkout but the cleaning crew came anyway. On the plus side, there is room for everyone to find a quiet space and the laundry is a nice and welcome feature! The water pressure is good too! It’s close enough to walk to the beach if you are only carrying a towel and sunscreen. If you have chairs and multiple towels, buy a beach pass and drive. Ping pong and darts were a hit!
