3 star 50sqm apartment Amsel's nest, private 25sqmterrasse, Wi-Fi, garage incl.

Our end of 2016 renovated with a lot of passion and equipped with a new bathroom apartment is located at the end of the dead end, right on the edge of the forest in an apartment building with six apartments in 76848 Schwanheim.
Schwanheim is a small village with 580 inhabitants and is idyllically located in the middle of the Palatinate Forest between Dahn, Hauenstein and Annweiler am Trifels.

My Blackbird Nest is a non-smoking apartment and equipped with everything that contributes to the comfort of home.
In the apartment is wireless and telephone and German landline inclusive.

The blackbird nest has a 25sqm terrace (west side) with garden furniture and awning. There you can round off the day and enjoy the evening sun.
The living room with kitchen is also about 25 square meters and has a new, fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a couch for lounging and resting. In the Amselnest there is a LED Smart TV (DVB-T2) with HDMI connection. A DVD player is available. Some DVDs are available in the apartment.
In the living room is a stereo with CD player available.

The kitchen is equipped with ceramic hob, oven, hood, dishwasher, fridge with *** - freezer, microwave, 2 coffee machines (1x Senseo, 1x filter), kettle, toaster and egg cooker.
The living room has a stove, firewood is free.
The entire apartment can also be heated with environmentally friendly, because energy-saving, infrared heaters.

The bedroom is furnished with a double bed without foot in a comfortable height of 60cm top mattress (1.80x2.00m), a wardrobe and two men's servants.
A cot (70x120cm) with mattress and a high chair are available.

The bathroom with shower was installed in 2016. The washing machine may be used free of charge. Drying stand and clamps are available.

The apartment is allergy friendly since there is no carpet. The existing rugs are washed regularly in the machine.

You can park your car / bicycles / motorbike in the lockable single garage.

A dog may be brought along (5 € / night) as long as cushions and beds are reserved for people.
Find out about the beautiful location of Schwanheim and the blackbird nest on google maps. You will agree that the location in the Palatinate Forest is just perfect for long walks and lots of rest. Several mountain bike routes lead directly through Schwanheim, hiking trails through the great Palatinate Forest and many premium hiking trails here right on the doorstep.

In 10 minutes walk you reach the village cafe Bayer where you can provide bread, rolls and cakes, as well as a butcher who also runs a small food assortment. The restaurant "Zum alten Nußbaum" in the center of Schwanheim spoils you with excellent regional cuisine.

The factory outlet of the "Ranger" shoe factory is located at the entrance to Schwanheim.

Enjoy the tranquility in Schwanheim, recharge your batteries and listen to the sounds of nature. Watch deer and deer from the terrace, listen to the woodpecker at the cave. The landscape and nature is just awesome and I love her ...

The Amselnest was tested by the DTV (German Tourism Association) and awarded three stars in June 2018. The certificate depends on the blackbird's nest.

Erholt & entspannt

Auch wenn ich wegen zu viel Stille erst einmal nicht einschlafen konnte - das hat sich im Laufe der Woche gebessert! Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und ausreichend groß für zwei Personen, der Ausblick von der Terrasse entspannend (Blick auf grüne Wälder) und man kann viele Vögel und Eichhörnchen ganz bequem von dort aus beobachten. Die Wanderungen beginnen quasi hinter dem Haus und ansonsten gibt es viele weitere spannende Sachen zu entdecken und erwandern mit einem sehr kurzen Anfahrtsweg. Alles in allem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen! Einziger Kritikpunkt: mehr Sonne & Wärme am Abend auf die Terrasse, um den Tag dort bei einem guten Wein ausklingen lassen zu können ;-)

Die Pfalz ist immer wieder schön

Sehr ruhige, naturnahe Lage, die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet undvor allem mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Da merkt man, dass Frau Schlipp wirklich Herzblut in ihre Ferienwohnung steckt, vielen Dank dafür!

Erholungs und Wanderurlaub in Schwanheim

Wir waren zu zweit mit unserer Hündin Emma von Montags bis Freitags in der FeWo Amselnest und haben uns auf Anhieb wohl gefühlt. Es war alles vorhanden, gepflegt und sauber. Wir waren zum Wandern dort. Von Schwanheim aus, geht das sehr gut, besonders der Buntsandsteinpfad hat uns super gefallen. Danke auch an Laura von oben drüber, die uns mit Suppe und Kuchen versorgt hat...😋

Schöne Aussicht

Das nebenstehende Foto zeigt die Aussicht von der nach Norden gerichteten Terrasse. Die im Grunde schöne Wohnung ist leider recht kühl im Oktober und auch feucht. Schade. Die Vermieterin ist um netten, persönlichen Kontakt zu ihren Gästen sehr bemüht. Das ist sehr angenehm.

Besser geht es nicht

Es war genau so wie wir es wollten. Es waren wunderschöne Tage die wir im Pfälzer Wald verbrachten. Die Wohnung war perfekt ausgestattet. Alles ist bereits vorhanden. Die Waschmaschine haben wir gerne benutzt. Die Betten waren bereits bezogen. Die Hauswirtin hat uns sehr viel Tipps für Unternehmungen gegeben. Die Lage der Fewo ist sehr ruhig. Im Ort gibt es ein Cafe in dem es morgens Brötchen gibt. Das Restaurant und die Wanderhütte oberhalb konnten wir leider nicht testen, da Montags und Dienstags Ruhetag ist. Nachts waren sogar Wildschweine vom Balkon aus zu beobachten. Die anderen Mieter oder eigentümer im Haus sind auch sehr nett gewesen. Rundum perfekt.

Die Ferienwohnung Amselnest ist umfangreich ausgestattet und bietet sich aufgrund der guten Lage als Ausgangspunkt für einen Wanderurlaub/Tagestouren mit unterschiedlichen Schwierigkeitsgraden perfekt an. Ein lästiger Geschirrabwasch von Hand entfällt, ebenfalls ist dreckige Wäsche problemlos zu reinigen, die Spül- und Waschmaschine sind ein großer Vorteil! Die Vermieterin ist sehr hilfsbereit und gibt abwechselungsreiche Empfehlungen für mögliche Ziele/Touren in der Umgebung, als auch innerhalb Schwanheim. Ergänzt wird dies durch umfangreiches Infomaterial, welches in der Ferienwohnung zur Verfügung steht. Uns hat der Aufenthalt viel Freude & Erholung bereitet, dafür vielen Dank!

Eine sehr nette Gastgeberin...

...die viel Herzblut in die Einrichtung gesteckt und an alles gedacht hat. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und verfügt über eine große Terrasse. Eine schöne, ruhige Gegend um entspannen zu können. Frau Schlipp ist sehr herzlich und sorgt dafür, dass es den Gästen an nichts fehlt.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung

Die Ferienwohnung ist Top ausgestattet. Die Terrasse ist zum Chillen ein Traum.Die Lage ist super für Wanderungen. Natürlich ist Schwanheim keine Metropole, aber der Bäcker ist gut erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jedem die Wohnung empfehlen.
