Great place to stay!

This little gem on Foxhill Rd was a wonderful place to stay on a recent visit to see family and friends. I'll start with the only negative and it's very small and really didn't affect our stay. Foxhill Rd is busy and you can hear the traffic. That said, the location was great for us, easy to get around the Hampton Roads area. The house itself was immaculate and the beds and linens were very nice and comfortable. The furniture was newer and in great condition. We appreciated the little extras, like Kleenex, the fun Foosball coffee table, beach towels and chairs. Our favorite part was the cute outdoor patio area with a fire pit, which we enjoyed, a grill and large table and chairs, plus the Adirondack chairs. We hope to stay here again, it met all of our needs. The owners, who live behind the house are responsive and friendly, but gave us our privacy.

Amazing Property

This rental was actually even better than described! Extremely clean and well appointed. The owners definitely make you feel at home and welcomed. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others. It is very near to Buckroe Beach and a short drive to many historical areas. Excellent property!Williamsburgproperty!areas.

Wonderful House and Good Location to Beaches and NASA

The house was located near beaches and convenient to NASA. The house was very clean and well decorated. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Hampton, VA Vacation House

The house was very clean and had lots of space for our two families! The furnishings were up to date and clean. The street right outside of the home was very loud, but our kids slept through it!

Great stay for multi-generational family, I would rent again! The location is great, just minutes from I-75. The home had plenty of space for the 10 of us who stayed over the holiday weekend.The host was very responsive. I was initially concerned about potential noise from the nearby airport, but that ended up being a non-issue. The host also gave us a heads-up about nearby construction, but it didn’t impact our stay.One thing that worked very well for our group: there are two bedrooms & bathrooms on the main level, which was great for family members with limited mobility. That layout made it much easier for everyone to be comfortable.I’m giving this property 4 out of 5 stars mainly due to the bathroom setup in the main upstairs area. The bathroom has a glass sliding door that doesn’t offer any privacy, and a window over the shower faces the neighboring house was creepy. I taped a towel over it. I hope the owner adds frosting to both the door and window for future guests.The only other minor downside was that we ran out of hot water a few times.Pros and Cons:PROS:- Layout/plenty of space - Stocked with towels, washcloths, laundry detergent, cookware, seasonings, and cleaning supplies- Quiet neighborhood- Small washer/dryerCONS:- Limited privacy in the main bedroom bathroom- Ice maker produced very little ice- Driveway is tight for larger vehicles- The hot water occasionally ran out- Debris (broken glass, etc.) beside the driveway

Beautiful, fully equipped home

This home will be our home away from home when in virginia to see our son. It's beautiful and welll equipped with quality linens, sheets and all necessary amenitites. We will definitely stay again.

Fox Hill Rd VRBO

My husband and I spent 4 days here. We loved visiting nearby places like Buckroe Beach and Langley NASA Science Museum. We even took in a Norfolk Tides game less than an hour away. The house is so clean and beautifully decorated.

The best vacation house we've ever rented

Property was updated and immaculate. Property manager responsive to a small request. Booking was easy. Property was close to beach, shopping, restaurants and attractions. Wish we lived closer.

Wonderful!

This home is everything the listing makes it out to be and more. It is clean and organized. We were there with our family, including small children. We had everything we needed, bar a gate for the stairs which we knew in advance, and were very comfortable. The hosts were accessible and communicative when we had a death in the family and arrived late. We highly recommend this home! If we came back to this area we would definitely stay there again.

Outstanding in EVERY way!!!!

This beautiful home was EXACTLY as listed!!! From the moment we opened the door, it felt like home!! It's very, very clean!! All you need to bring is your clothes and food. Excellent location. This was the perfect place to spend time in Hampton and attend our daughter's graduation from Hampton University! Excellent communication!! Hampton Coliseum Home Away From Home

5 friends gathered at the house for a weekend seeing shows at the Coliseum. The living space was perfectly sized and comfortable. Kitchen was spacious and had enough to get us going with all we needed to prep and cook meals. The BBQ was a +! Beds and linens were clean and very comfortable. Host communications were quick and very cordial. Overall a great VRBO spot!

Clean, new and perfect for our family!

We really enjoyed this property! Hampton is a perfect middle base to visit the historic sites (Williamsburg etc) and the beaches (Virginia Beach) with a very nice local beach nearby! With just one minor thermostat reset, the owner was quickly responsive and helped reset the AC to the right temps upstairs. (Responding in seconds to my text). The hospitality of the cupcakes is an example of the little things that make this a great stay.

Thanksgiving/ Birthday/ Proposal

Our stay began with the owners welcoming us with a batch of "Happy Birthday" cupcakes. (I had briefly mentioned that along with having our family Thanksgiving there, it would be my birthday & my son planned to propose to his girlfriend.) We felt the cupcakes was such a thoughtful touch, very classy. This home provided a comfortable & cozy backdrop for some significant family events during our stay. We loved the decor, it was fresh, modern & up to date. We would recommend this home again for any small family gatherings.

When I found out my aunt was coming from CA to VA for several days, I hosted an impromptu family reunion. I chose Hampton because of its central-ish location for my siblings to join us. I specifically chose this beautiful home for its size. Even though only 3 of the 6 siblings could be there, we made extraordinary memories! This home is so well-appointed with standard supplies AND unexpected, generous surprises, I highly recommend it for family-friendly gatherings! The hosts were perfect communicators. They live in the home just behind this property. Easy access to gorgeous Buckroe Beach, grocery stores, and plenty of other services. I can say that we will definitely seek out this specific location again!

Exceptional Place

We rented this VRBO for a work event in the area, and it was absolutely perfect! The house is adorable, located in a quiet area and conveniently close to a grocery store. The private outdoor space was great for dining and socializing, and the entire home was spotless and beautifully decorated.The large kitchen and dining area provided plenty of space for our work discussions, and the beds were so comfortable that I even looked up the mattress to buy one for myself! The owner was friendly, responsive, and available for any questions we had.We would definitely stay here again, and if you're visiting the area, you should absolutely consider booking this home!

Great house

This was probably the most comfortable rental house we've ever stayed in. It's lovely inside, nicely decorated, comfortable beds, and the blackout curtains help so much. The house was central to all the places we were visiting -- colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, water country USA, and Virginia Beach. Very convenient. I would just mention that the bed sheets had a laundry fragrance to them that irritated some of us with sensitive skin. The nearby Mexican restaurant was good. Venture kitchen had great pizza. Overall we really had a lovely time! Thank you!
