Cute little house, very close to all the things we needed in town and convenient to get to the sites we wanted to see outside of town (antelope canyon, horseshoe bend, etc.). Nice outside area, pool table, great place to stay!
This place was great! We found it just as we expected- a fun retreat for four road weary travelers. The decor was fun and kitschy- the pool table an added bonus. It was very comfortable with everything we needed and the hosts were great and always quick to respond.

We loved the playful fun decor, and the attention to detail. Since we were on vacation and meeting up with family, it set a great tone for a fun-filled coupe of days. We would definitely stay at the Howdy Hideaway again!
We used the hideaway as our home base to travel to nearby national parks and do surrounding Page activities. Very clean and cute decor. Well stocked kitchen to cook in and really enjoyed the patio for dining and lounging during the evening. Host was very fast to respond to our questions. We really loved staying here. Highly recommend this property. Thank you very much.
I was surprised & pleased with host making contact with information about the property in advance of our stay. Accurate listing. Clean, cool decor, close to grocery store & food venues.
The house was easy to find and centrally located. All the main streets and grocery store were nearby. The pool table was a great source of fun and we used the patio and grill to cook a meal. The washer and dryer were huge. All the appliances worked well. There were plenty of towels and dishware. The only complaints were no measuring cups or spoons (we cooked there). And the mattresses were like big marsh mellows (we prefer firm beds). Appreciated to coffee on hand.
We were 3 Seniors traveling with our dogs. We adopted another dog during our trip. House rules said 2 dogs only and we now had a 3rd (although she weighs under 10#). I made a reservation with Please contact me about our 3rd. dog. We never heard anything. Left the area and then were charged full fees (dogs, cleaning...) while we were in another State. The Owner did reach out with a text after the fact, "You didn't make your reservation". I was still charged $$$
The house was very comfortable. The kitchen had all you could need in terms of supplies / equipment. Front room and outdoor area are a nice place to relax. Pool table was fun. Access to Netflix and other TV options were provided.
House stayed cool even when it got warm outside and air conditioning was quiet. Very nice!
Great location to get to various sites and locations. The pictures are exactly what the property looks like. A few minor things that I wasn’t a fan of, but a lot was out of the owners control. First, it’s very thin walls. Whether in the master or the other bedroom across from the bathroom, you can hear someone in the bathroom quite well. The ceiling fan in the front room has a broken chain so you can’t run the fan without the light on. At one point, the neighbor two doors down was screaming profanities for a good 30 minutes in the morning and played crazy loud music one evening for hours. The front door locks but the back door does not. It didn’t seem like a big deal because the fence is tall and has a secure lock on it. Other than those minor things, we did love the place. The decor is adorable, it’s cleaned well, the towels are cute and displayed adorable plus the toilet paper had a cute flower design on it. Everything you need is in the kitchen. The hot water is perfect. There wasn’t any check out instructions like most vrbo’s have so that would have been nice to know if they wanted us to do anything before check out.
House has fun decor that we all enjoyed. Everyone loved the pool table. Great location to antelope canyon/horseshoe bend. Big John’s BBQ is right down the street good food/live music nightly. Only 2 block walk to park if you have kiddos. Would definitely stay again.
Quirky but cute and clean! The boys LOVED the pool table. We didn’t end up bringing our dog but she would have loved the yard. The location was perfect. The futon bed was uncomfortable I was told and the king bed wasn’t something I’d love to sleep in for long but it was okay for a couple nights. Overall, we’d definitely stay again.
It is obvious this place is wonderfully weird, but what you should def know is that the host was super responsive and accommodating to questions and requests. Loved it!
Great house to stay at in Page. Stayed for the week of Christmas to be near family. We all loved the pool table. Kitchen had everything I needed to prepare meals. Piano was fun to play, but out of tune. Backyard was great for our dog. Just a few suggestions, king bed in Master isn't comfortable, very squeaky. Living room sofas are adorable, but uncomfortable futons. We had trouble managing the shower in hall bath so we just used the other one that worked perfectly. Not an issue for me, but there isn't a dishwasher. All in all, love the feel of this cute place. Lots of space, central location, dog friendly.
My family LOVED the decor and design of the rental!
You have got a gem in Page and it was perfect for our group. Thank you for the "experience."
If we come back, we will definitely stay with you again!
Chase’s property was in a great location, was very amenable to dogs, and had a great outside hang out zone.

About the host
Hosted by Chase Simpson
We love to travel and believe that the best way to experience a place is by staying in someone's home. And we've experienced this first hand: from the bustling cities of Thailand to the beach towns of Colombia and redwood forests, we adore the experience of stepping foot into someone else's reality. It's long been a dream of ours to own a vacation home and we're thrilled to be able to share the experience with you.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with Page when we first experienced the magic of Antelope Canyon in 2018. Since then we've come back every, single year for an annual camping trip on the lake. But once a year, quickly became twice and then three times. And while there's nothing like pitching a tent at Lone Rock, this home, is just 15 minutes away. With central heating and air conditioning, hot showers, and super fast WiFi, it just made our days on the lake that much better. Plus, it's just a few hours from Zion National Park, The Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Sedona and Havasupai Falls – making it an ideal base camp for Southwestern adventures.
We list our vacation home as a way to fund the dream and hope that it will be an amazing place for you to base your stay out of. Page is a place that's easy to fall in love with and we're sure that staying here will allow you to see the best of it.
What makes this property unique
The location of this home really can't be beaten. It's walking distance from everything – and we mean EVERYTHING. All of the best bars and restaurants and the Rim View trail are all just minutes away by foot. You can even easily walk to the airport – and we have!
This home was an opportunity for us to upgrade our time in Page from our tent to a temperature controlled, WiFi filled, comfy home. But that meant that it had to compete with – and beat – the views from the tent. And while you can't look out our window to see Lone Rock, the stylish living space, pool table, backyard grill and fast WiFi do just the trick. Because after all, if you're going to spend time indoors in Page, it better be in a place that's *almost* as pretty as your surroundings.
