This 3-level log cabin with a 2-tiered wrap-around deck faces east offering breathtaking sunrises, long-range mountain views and a spectacular natural setting. Escape to the mountains and let the beauty and peace of this place over-take your senses. Relax and recharge or launch your next adventure to many nearby attractions. The equivalent of 4WD vehicle is required to get back up the driveway. Bring your binoculars for bird and wildlife views and spectacular night-time star gazing. Sturdy hiking boots are recommended for exploring the surrounding trails. Stone gas fireplace with push button lighter, well-stocked kitchen, 4-burner gas grill on deck, outdoor fire pit, free use of washer & dryer. Pet friendly.

Birthday Getaway

My husband and I rented this cabin for 6 days to house our two adult children and teenage daughter for my birthday. We had the best time! The views are spectacular and the sunrise is absolutely breathtaking- totally unobstructed!! A 4WD vehicle is needed to access this property due to the steep inclines but definitely doable. Downtown West Jefferson has great shopping and restaurants. We would definitely book again!

Wonderful visit

Although it was only an extended weekend, I wish it would have been longer. The place was absolutely gorgeous and the views were amazing. We loved getting up in the morning and at the end of the day just sitting on the back deck looking at the ever changing views. I plan on coming back in the fall to see what the views look like without all the leaves! The host is very responsive and on top of everything. Yo can't go wrong with this place.

Gorgeous Cabin, Incredible View!

Our family rented this cabin for a post-holiday getaway and it was fantastic! We were 6 adults, one kid and a dog. There was plenty of room for everyone and the cabin was equipped with everything we could need. It does feel a little remote and a 4WD/AWD vehicle is probably a must for getting in and out easily, but once we were used it, West Jefferson was only about 15 minutes away and the views from the decks (and the sunrises!!) we’re incredible! Great cabin & a great host! Hope we can return soon!

What makes this property unique

One of the best features of this cabin is the spectacular sunrises seen on the main floor deck. It is worth being out there ~20 minutes before sunrise to watch the breathtaking light show and cloud formations. Always the same sun, never the same view. The view from any deck portrays beautiful cloud formation and long-range mountain views. Bird-lovers, bring your binoculars!
