From tubing /kayaking on the New River to enjoying the fall foliage to cutting down the family Christmas tree to skiing, there is something to do year-round.

Perfect Jumping Off Point to Boone & Beyond!

Lookout Lodge was a perfect hub spot for all of our Boone area adventures! The property was very clean and well appointed - and THE VIEWS!!!Jack is a super attentive host and was very responsive to all requests. We'd love to come back!

Everything was perfect! The decor of the cabin set the mountain mood and the hosts had everything available that we could possibly need or want. Really enjoyed celebrating our 45rth anniversary there and would definitely go back again with family. I have to say our first concern on arrival was the traffic noise but inside the cabin we didn't hear a thing and slept like babies. Growing up my family would frequent the old bar this beautiful home once was. Through out the years I’ve watched in hopes someone would save it. The owners did was an amazing job! It was absolutely perfect and we couldn’t have been more pleased! Jack was great and super responsive.
