Parking and drop-offs

Guests can drive up to the house to drop off luggage. While parking isn’t allowed in the alley, street parking is available nearby on adjacent streets. Guests and friends have never had an issue with their cars.

Villa Amistad sits on a quiet cobblestone alley in El Cerro, one of Puerto Vallarta's original hillside neighborhoods. Long-time Mexican families have called this street home for generations; neighbors know each other, look out for one another, and it feels genuinely lived-in and safe. Guests love the balance: the energy of the city when they want it, a peaceful, authentic neighborhood to come back to.



Getting Around:

The Malecón is a five-minute walk downhill. The Romantic Zone, Los Muertos Beach, Centro, and 5 de Diciembre are all within 5-25 minutes on foot. Ubers and taxis are plentiful and affordable for when the hill feels like too much. Local buses run along the main road below for 10 pesos.

Families

Families with children are welcome, but please note the villa is not childproof. There is an unfenced pool, open stairs, low railings, and breakable artwork and pottery. No children's furniture or toys are provided. We encourage parents to reach out before booking to make sure the villa is the right fit.
