New Braunfels - River Bungalow Near Comal Tubing & Schlitterbahn + Lux Tub

Relax and live life at a slower pace at Casita Verde NB, a river bungalow in beautiful New Braunfels. A 5 min drive to the river and close to all the local attractions: Landa Park, Schlitterbahn, Buccee's, Gruene, antique shopping, and numerous dining and bar options. Casita Verde NB is about halfway between Austin and San Antonio and is about 15 mins away from Gruene.

- Kitchenette for a quick snack and tea/coffee

Open plan bungalow with breezeway windows equipped with privacy shutters.

Each room has a queen Casper bed, nightstands, a rolling rack for hanging clothing, and a TV with access to streaming options.

Bedroom 1 can be a dedicated workspace with a desk, chair, and charging options.

Bedroom 2 has a full bathroom with a newly installed, freestanding soaking tub stocked with bath bombs and a bamboo tub tray for your relaxation during your stay. This room also has a chest of drawers for extra clothing storage.

A separate half bathroom is available with access from the hallway. Room darkening shutters and curtains in both rooms so you can sleep late comfortably!

An extra sofa cot is also available for guest use in each room.

We like to give our guests space to enjoy their stay, but we are down the road - only a call or text away if you need anything!

We have been in New Braunfels over 15 years and have seen the city blossom.

Please Note:

Casita Verde NB is located right off 35 allowing quick in/out access. Guests may hear slight traffic noise throughout the day and normal neighborhood noise like dogs, garbage cans, etc.

- We love our neighbors! Please be respectful entering/leaving the casita and keep noise levels low especially 9pm-8am
- No third party bookings allowed
- No smoking - guest is responsible for cleaning fees if smoking residue is found
- No parties/large gatherings allowed in the space
- No unauthorized pets allowed - guest is responsible for cleaning fees if pet damage is found

The grocery stores - HEB and Walmart - are a 4 min drive away. For your convenience, there are TWO fully equipped and brand-new gas stations (7 Eleven & Circle K) that carry almost anything you may need during your stay at Casita Verde NB.

The best way to get around is definitely by car but the two gas/convenience stores are withing walking distance. There's also a park nearby that's about a two minute walk. This park has a walking trail, basketball courts, skate board ramps, benches, and lots of green space!

This is a great historical home. The house is conveniently located if you want to float or hang out in Gruene. It’s is 2 bedroom/2 bath home with quaint decor and modern amenities. The hosts were great.

We stayed for the weekend as we were going to Schlitterbahn. Peter was very helpful and had great restaurant recommendations. The house was clean and had everything we needed. He even had roll away beds for us ready to go. We would definitely book again.

My family and I stayed a couple nights to float the River. The place is extremely clean and was easy to access. The bedrooms are big and comfortable. There is not much to speak of for common space. A counter height table in a make-shift kitchen is about it. Host was easy to communicate with, but we had no need as there were no problems.

Cutest little home away from home!

We stayed 3 days and 2 nights in this adorable home. It’s was perfect. The kids were comfortable and at home. They had Tv and WIFI to stay entertained while we got ready for our next outing. If you happen to need to do a little work there’s and awesome office setup in one of the rooms. The master bathroom was my favorite part! It’s so freaking cute and the bathtub is awesome! This is definitely going in my saved properties for next time!

Lovely home and wonderful vibes!!

My friends and I stayed here for a weekend so we could float the comal river! It was an amazing experience. The home is just like the photos and was very comfortable. We absolutely adored the pink bathroom! The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. The kitchenette area was perfect for snacks and simple breakfast making. It was a great weekend.

Easy Access to all things fun

We came down to celebrate my daughter’s 21’s birthday and this casita was super cute and comfy and very close to everything we wanted to do for the weekend.
