The house has a warm feeling full of natural light. The covered porch was a great place to hang to see nature and listen to all the birds. The evening fire pit was lovely with lots of stargazing.A perfect getaway for a family retreat.
Amazing location and amazing space, indoors and outdoors. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our host provided information about the area and solid recommendations for things to do. We all agreed, we would stay here again.
We had an amazing stay at this property. The house is gorgeous, very bright, nicely decorated and with everything you’d need. Communication with the owner was seamless and the check in process was very easy. I recommend this house to anyone for a nice getaway weekend!
Our family recently stayed at this beautiful property while attending a wedding in Ellenville, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The house and grounds were absolutely stunning—thoughtfully designed, impeccably maintained, and filled with amenities that made our stay both comfortable and memorable. The location was perfect: close enough to town and local venues for convenience, yet peaceful and secluded enough to truly relax and enjoy nature. One of our favorite parts was the daily wildlife visits. We were greeted by deer, chipmunks, a turtle, and even a wandering turkey! In the evenings, we were treated to the magic of fireflies dancing across the property, which completely captivated our daughter. It felt like something out of a storybook. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful Catskills getaway.
The property is beautiful and on the edge of a large undeveloped forest so it was like visiting a nature preserve. In 6 days we saw many birds, chipmunks and squirrel but also deer, wild turkey, snapping turtle, toads, snakes and even a few black bears. Its an easy drive to Bethel Woods and many other local points of interest and the owner Lianna provided additional information about the area as well as quick responses to my questions. We enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen, grilling and eating on the deck and sitting by the fire pit at night and even though it was the 4th of July weekend it was very quiet for the majority of our stay. I would recommend this property to those who have some experience with staying in the country and can respect that in this setting we are the visitors to the animals' home.
