Management showed up as we arrived, showed us everything and said anything else we needed just ask. Everything was Great, they even let us use their personal dock. Great place to Stay, Thanks again.

Peaceful location on the lake

If you like a beatiful view in a quiet location with a dock and boat slip right out the back door then look no further! Our family had a relaxing stay and Marty and Kay were great hosts!

Love this place. Good amount of space. Doc is good size. Perfect for fishing or swimming. Cove is pretty quiet.

Great place! Comfortable, homey feel. Had everything we needed. Marty was very helpful, showing us how to operate the boat lift. Thanks for a great July 4th weekend!

Great getaway right on the lake! This house is perfect for a family getaway! Great swimming!

Home was very clean and had everything we needed to cook our meals. Dock is right out the back door! Water was amazing for our family to swim. We stayed 3 nights and wished it was longer! We had a great time swimming, boating, and horse back riding at a near by ranch! Would recommend this to anyone looking for a great getaway right on the water! It was so peaceful and relaxing! We'll defiantly be back. Our kids loved jumping off the dock and fishing! The hosts were very helpful and so friendly!!

Not the best stay I’ve had

The bathrooms were dirty and had dead bugs all over. The dining room chairs were in need of repair and one chair was broken. Hall light burned out. Dish washer mysteriously stopped working half way through the trip. And there was animal hair and dog leashes when the property was listed as no pets. I am highly allergic. Also the owners kept texting to check in and came by on a national holiday! Privacy would be nice!

Dead Animals and Spiders - Not a Valid VRBO

Our vacation was ruined. Know your rights as a VRBO user and how they handle issues. VRBO is not making sure their listings are still valid rentals. We tried contacting owner 3 days early, showed up to our VRBO, no checkin process, no call back from owner, rat traps with dead animals outside the door, spiderwebs everywhere and VRBO gave zero assistance finding another place to stay. Needless to say, the property was not ready to be on VRBO. Still waiting on my refund to be processed.

Nice, peaceful...

If you don't mind being off the grid re: Wi-Fi, phone data, and living out of coolers. That is to say, there were a few issues. First, the fridge was not cooling. The freezer never worked and our groceries bought on Friday night were going bad by Sunday night dinner. We couldn't find the extra linens or cleaning supplies to clean up after ourselves. The WiFi password wasn't accurate and no one would respond to our questions if there was an updated password. It's a beautiful location and we started her last Labor Day but we get a rental so we don't have to eat out every night. This was complicated by the fridge situation. Hope they get it fixed... and remove the mouse traps and droppings before visitors arrive next time.

Relaxing

Marty, who was very pleasant and helpful, met us as we were pulling into the driveway. He gave us a tour of the house and explained how things worked and answered any questions that we had. The house was very clean and modern. Had plenty of dishes, silverware, pots & pans, baking dishes, cookbooks, towels etc. One regular drip coffee maker and one Keurig. The book case had several books for your reading pleasure. Since I forgot to pack my book, I helped myself to a John Grisham novel. Enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the lake drinking morning coffee, reading and a nice place for drinks and meals.The gas grill was nice and on the deck to be able to see the lake. Spent most of our time on the shaded deck enjoying the lake view. A nice indoors sitting area that overlooks the lake and fishing off the dock was a plus. . Grove is aprox. 5 miles with numerous restaurants and Grand Lake Casino is approx 5 miles. Will definitely book this relaxing getaway in the future!

Lake Get-a-Way

The owners were very accommodating and answered any questions we had. The dock was super close to the property and was able to keep our boat there and come and go as we wanted. They had every amenity we needed. We will be staying there again.

Amazing view and home

The owners greeted us when we got to the home, showed us around and let us know that they were there if we needed anything. The first thing we noticed about the house was the view! 2 big windows looking out over the lake! We watched the sunrise from the kind size bed in the master, it was wonderful. The boat dock was perfect for swimming with a ladder and we also used it to park the boat. 5 out of 5 stars! We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was nicely furnished and had all of the amenities of home. Gorgeous views of the lake from master bedroom and the sunroom. There was a nice coffee pot and also a Keurig! The back deck was fantastic and had a great view of the lake. Lots of birds always flying around and we even saw a bald eagle flying right by the shore. The lightening bugs flying around us at dusk on the deck made me think of my childhood days. Town was not far away and had all of the types of stores we needed for food and things we forgot to bring from home. We had a great time and are looking forward our next stay here!

Great fishing!

Dock right out the back door off the deck. Easy sloped and railed ramp down to dock. Had a great time fishing. Town was close. Kitchen well stocked with cookware. Bedrooms were ample size. Hosts right next door if you need anything. Thanks for everything.
