Amazing Family Getaway

Our family of 5 had a great time at this beautiful property. We enjoyed eating and hanging out in the screened in porch every evening. The kids had a blast fishing and swimming in the lake. Close to Holiday World too.

Little slice of heaven! We stayed here to attend a wedding at Matilda’s Event Barn. It was idyllic, so pretty with the fall colors and glassy lake. We loved hanging out in the porch with blankets (early November). Everything was very accommodating, temperature control in both sleeping rooms. Simple check and out. I only wish we could have stayed longer. We’re keeping this in mind for the summer!

This property is wonderful! Fishing, boating, kayaking, fire pit, swimming, hot tub…it has it all! Our family had an amazing 4th of July weekend together. We most definitely will be back!

Great family getaway

My family and I wanted to get away for Christmas and the Lakeside Cabin was perfect! The host were quick with their correspondence and everything was easy to use and find. There’s already been some discussion of a summer trip to take better advantage of the pond and kayaks.

Family Fishing Paradise

If you are looking for a private and peaceful location to take your family to relax and do some kayaking, fishing, swimming, or just unplugging outside for a few days--this is the place. I read the reviews before booking because I was really trying to find somewhere I could almost guarantee my kids could catch some fish. Well, 102 fish later-- Mission Accomplished. The weather and temperature cooperated during our stay for optimal fishing. The property is very well maintained you can tell the owners take great pride in it.

We were in the area for a wedding at Matilda’s event center, which is only a half a mile away! The Lakeside cabin is amazing. We will definitely come back for a family trip. Plenty to do lots of amenities and very secluded. We absolutely loved it!

My grandsons loved to fish and it was my daughters 16 th b day. We all would love to live there

Wonderful Getaway Experience

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Every detail has been thought of. The water was warm and the family enjoyed the Tiki bar area. The fishing was fantastic. Never have to leave the property.

Perfectly secluded location. Gorgeous property with fantastic views and peace and quiet. Enjoyed the fishing, fire pit, kayaks, golf cart cruises, and hot tub! Was a great little getaway from our busy lives. A truly relaxing farm/lake combo that was enjoyed by our whole family.

A Time Away

Our family needed a chance to get away from the fast pace of life and this little cabin was just what we needed. Our hosts were absolutely amazing! The property is beautiful. We were still able to eat out close by or do some shopping but coming back to this peaceful cabin to fish, swim, and just relax was the best!

Fall Family Weekend

There was a beautiful fall view. Fishing was great, and it was so exciting for the grandkids. The property was clean and very well-kept inside and out. Could have skipped Holiday World and enjoyed Lakeside Cabin, which had plenty to do, or relaxed and enjoyed some quiet time outdoors.
