The mountain cabin of your dreams awaits at Birdie Ridge, tucked into a grove of trees and surrounded by nature. With a private perch at the end of the road, you’ll feel a million miles away from it all, you’re minutes from local attractions like Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This home is designed for outdoor living, with two gigantic decks featuring majestic mountain views, a cozy fire pit area perfect for roasting marshmallows, and a private hot tub sunken into the side deck – the ideal spot for watching the stars rise over the mountains.

Inside, you’ll find soaring, knotty pine ceilings, a gorgeous stone fireplace, and a wall of windows to let in all that Carolina sunshine. Start the day in one of the rocking chairs on the deck. Grab some coffee and a book – why not? You’re on vacation. After you’ve achieved maximum relaxation, head inside to make some breakfast. The open kitchen features acres of counter space, a full suite of stainless appliances, and all the gadgets you need. The gang can dine alfresco back out on the deck, or grab a barstool at the large kitchen island.

After a day of exploring, leave plenty of time to enjoy your cabin. Fire up the new grill for dinner and retire to the game room downstairs, where you’ll find a pool table, darts, chess, and a game table for the poker players among you. There’s also a mini-fridge and wet bar downstairs, so you don’t even need to go upstairs to top up your beverage. Grab a spot on the sofa upstairs or downstairs after your game, get the gas fireplaces going, and settle in for a family movie. Extra perks of this lovely home include central AC and a washer/dryer.

It was wonderful one for our books to remember. Great property, great location, and oerfect home away from home. 12min from the casino which we enjoyed as well. Only scary thing was the hills and slopes which we were not use to at all. Highly recommend 10/10

Huge House

Driveway is no lie in the details. It’s STEEP. Customer service is no good. We called on a truck slid off the road half on the driveway to the house and couldn’t reach our house. Nobody contacted us back. We called on no propane for the grill and once again nobody called us back.

Relaxing week

The cabin was very nice but in need of upgrades. Read careful, wifi is not provided with property and cell signal is spotty. Had issues with upstairs TV and direct tv not working during stay even after contacting property manager the first day of stay. Had to reset water heater several times. House is nice and spacious, beautiful deck with a nice view.

Nice property, but maybe not worth it!

The house is beautiful, but not very clean and a few things in disrepair. We always select our stays based on the amenities the home has to offer. Based on the online listing, it checked all the boxes. Just very dated and in some level of disrepair. Pay attention to the reviews on the driveway. It is seriously no joke! The management company was very easy to work with and was very responsive. Probably would not book this property again though.

2022 family vacation

Will not go back to this house.. it was a beautiful house but couldn't use grill. The whole inside of grill had at least 5 inch thick white and green mold growing. Couldn't use the hot tub. Smelled like mildew and there was mustard colored stuff all over the sides and bottom and along the water line. It was filthy. The kitchen did not have hardly anything useful to cook anything with.

Even better than the pictures!

This house and location is absolutely magical!! We stayed Memorial Day week, and all the trees were full of leaves. It feels as if you are deep within a remote forest, but in reality you are just minutes from town, rafting, hiking, and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The house rules book has some extra rules that aren’t listed online, like what you need to do before starting a fire, what to do with trash, etc, so be sure to read through it. There are SO many light switches that it’s hard to figure out what goes to what. And about 1/4 of the bulbs were burned out, but I let the rental agency know, so hopefully you won’t have that problem. Even with that, there was still plenty of light. But overall I want you to know that this house was AMAZING. highly recommend. I also want to throw a shout out to the folks at Smoky Mountain River Adventures. It’s less than ten minutes from the house and rafting was probably our favorite outting while there.

Escape to the Smokey Mountains

The Birdie Ridge property is the perfect smokey mountains escape with quiet, beautiful views. The deck that wraps around the house offers many seating options for spending time outdoors. Great location for having a beer and hanging out with friends. Inside the decorations are quirky, unique, and will make you feel like you are in the mountains. The "basement" or bottom floor is a great entertainment space with poker table, pool table, darts, and kitchen area complete with a mini-fridge and wine cooler. There is one bedroom and bathroom on the bottom floor and then the rest of the bedrooms and bathrooms are on the main floor with the kitchen and living area. The drive up the mountain up to birdie ridge is also a lot of fun and exciting! While there is Starlink Wifi available, you can can really disconnect at this property. There is a hot tub and fire pit as well if you are into those things. The owner also setup a grill, because what is the mountains without a bit a of grilling? The nearby towns are great to visit like Bryson City for hiking and rafting, and Sylva for some dining and shopping. Asheville is about an hour away where you can easily spend the day enjoying the eat, breweries, and art scene. You won't regret a getaway at Birdie Ridge!

Beautiful property very steep driveway.

Very beautiful home well maintained and the views were beautiful. The driveway really is no joke I’ve never seen something so steep. We were very curious how they actually built this house up on this hill. But it was a great property pretty close to everything.

The house is lovely, very secluded and private. Lots of space indoors & out to spread out and not feel on top of each other. Mattresses could use replacement in a couple of rooms. There is no internet and VERY spotty cell service at the house & for a good mile or so on the highway either side of the house once down the mountain. Activities will need to be planned ahead or when in a town. The driveway is a very steep but manageable- as long as you are comfortable w/that type of driving. There were plenty of towels and linens. Kitchen could use a little updating - no storage type containers, no mixing spoons & a couple missing measuring cup sizes. Vacasa response to some issues we had starting on day 1 are still not resolved after a 10 day stay & checking out 9 hours ago. I had to call or text each day and it keeps getting kicked down the road & " elevated" but still not resolved.

Amazing home!

You will NOT be disappointed! This is an amazing place to stay and explore the Smokey mountains. The driveway is not for the faint of heart, steeeeeeeep, but you land at the most amazing f destination! We will be back for sure! House has everything you could possibly need!
