Our family had a wonderful stay over Christmas at this house in Oakland Park, FL. We chose is primarily for the location, which is a great location. The neighborhood is quiet and central to everything Fort Lauderdale has to offer. The heated pool was a bonus. It was a plenty warm and spotlessly clean pool! The house is great, old Florida style with a screen room in the back. The beds are comfortable, there was a walk in shower for my mom and the kitchen was big with an eat in bar. 100% recommend and we will definitely stay there again when in the area

We stayed during Christmas and enjoyed the patio and outdoor area. The house was smaller than I imagined but still was comfortable for my family. Host was friendly and accommodating. We were close to stores and restaurants. Plenty of parking.

Overall the property was relaxing for me and my family. Everything as far as groceries and gas stations was close by so we didn't have to go to far for anything. Pool was in decent condition & I wish I knew how to heat it up because on the site it mentions heated pool when the pool was cold but other than that I enjoyed my stay.

We had many issues. The host that oversees the property tried to do as much as they could and was quick to respond. There was were tied as the owner has let the property run down. Paint coming off, washer not working properly, broken lounge chair around pool

Long weekend

We rented this property for a long weekend to attend a hockey tournament. The communication with the owner was great and check in was good. First impression when we walked in was that it could use a good cleaning (windows, walls, air vents, floors). The appliances were all new and well maintained and the bathrooms were updated and beds were comfortable. Unfortunately we were unable to use the heated pool due to a crazy schedule and the weather didn't cooperate but the pool area was nice and private. There is an apartment/efficiency attached to the house that someone is living in that isn't disclosed in the rental info and I feel that should be made aware to possible renters.

The house was smaller than I was expecting. When I got off my car I noticed this odd smell. My husband thinks it was the plans. Soon as you come in the smell goes away. I did notice two small roaches and since my little baby has very sensitive skin and many allergies I was skeptical. The pool says heater but I still felt it cold. The kids were fine with it. Overall I guess the stay was good for the amount of time we stayed. 2 days.

Great get away!

We stayed at this house for seven weeks and loved it. It is located in a convenient area close to stores and restaurants. The beach is within a 15 minute drive. There is a Brightline train station close by that you can take to Miami or further up north like West Palm Beach, which we highly recommend! The fenced in backyard, with lots of palms and greenery, was perfect for our dog to run around and play, and allowed privacy from the neighbors. The pool was a nice feature and we spent lots of time enjoying it! The screened in porch is a great place to spend your evenings. The neighborhood is very nice, with friendly neighbors . We loved to take walks with the dog and getting to know the area. There is a gas station to the road behind the house that does get a little noisy at times, but nothing too concerning. This was a super place to stay, really had a great experience! We found the owners to be very responsive to any questions or concerns.

Nice place for a getaway

This two-2 property is really nice it shows just like the pictures just a little bit smaller than we expected but still very very nice great kitchen nice bathrooms and the beds are very comfortable. The only thing to be aware of which we were not is that there’s a small efficiency on the side of the house that is also being rented. But they do not have access to the pool and it is out of the way that you don’t see them at all because you do have them all home to yourself. The pool is great the backyard is Very lush and tropical feeling. Highly recommend for anyone just looking for a nice getaway in a great location close to almost anything you want to do in Fort Lauderdale.
