Hillside Hideaway is the perfect place for your family get-away...a welcoming and beautifully decorated true rustic mountain cabin. 2 king beds, 1 queen and 1 queen sofabed!

Hillside Hide-away is minutes to restaurants and amenities by car, about 20 minutes into Cades Cove, about 15 minutes into the Wears Valley area and about 30-40 minutes to Pigeon Forge, Dollywood and Gatlinburg!

Just a short stroll to Apple Valley Cafe and shops, Dancing Bean coffee shop, Cades Cove Winery and The Little River! Bring your bikes, kayaks, tubes, walking sticks, fishing poles to enjoy the convenient Townsend biking/walking trail and the Little River. Private and gated easy access driveway.

Immaculately clean and sanitized, newly renovated and furnished. You will love the peaceful, lush green setting on over an acre, surrounded by nothing but beautiful foliage.

Our natural rough cut rustic pine cabin boasts three levels so there is room to spread out inside as well as to enjoy your coffee on the front screened porch rockers or the rear outdoor area. Or spend time playing ping pong or other games in the spacious basement game room. For outside fun, enjoy a game of horse-shoes and the private hot tub.

Townsend sits just outside the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and all that this world-famous adventurous destination provides.

Townsend offers several great new and established restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, IGA grocery store, Dollar General, Ace Hardware and other businesses for your enjoyment and convenience.

Free pool access and catch and release fishing in season at Honeysuckle Meadows off Wears Valley Road!

We furnish our very own luxury linens and towels and do not use a linen service. Your cleaning/hot tub fees assure the cleanliness and sanitization one would expect from any luxury accommodation. We have a personal housekeeper that cleans, inspects and prepares the cabin before and after each stay to guarantee the 5-star experience that we expect and advertise. Start-up supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, coffee/tea and filters, bath soap and dish soap are provided. It is recommended that you plan to bring food and additional supplies for longer stays.

Perfect family stay

The cabin is spacious and clean and comfortable. We used the fireplace on a chilly morning and the fire pit on a chilly evening. We loved the hot tub, the kitchen and eating nook. The owner is very friendly and responsive.

Nice Cabin

This is a clean cabin that is easily accessible being close to the main road and the Apple Cafe. It was a good location for us to explore all areas. We were gone most of the days, so I did not cook there or use most kitchen equipment. Owner was easy to communicate with and responsive.

We privately own Hillside Hideaway as a family getaway and vacation rental cabin. We live in Chattanooga, TN and our children and grandchildren all live in the surrounding area. Townsend has become our family's favorite gathering destination. We have previously owned two very popular rental cabins in Townsend, "Higher Ground" and "Mountain Psalm" cabins. We have carefully renovated and furnished Hillside Hideaway with family gatherings in mind. We love to hear from our guests about their wonderful experiences and eagerly await their return visits.
