It was a great stay!
It was a great stay and a relaxing vacation. The cabin smelled great after we cooked breakfast and built a fire! Overall it was wonderful. We had a few concerns/issues but they were taken care of.
Everything was as advertised. We loved the location the lost because it is not in the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Really happy with the property overall. Only negative was it said there was a hot tub and there wasn’t. Other than that 5 stars all the way. Thank you for having our family there. Would love to return.
If you want a great place to stay on the quiet side of the Smoky Mountains, look no further. This log cabin is perfect for a family wanting to experience Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There are trails just a short drive away for hiking and Cades Cove is about a half hour drive. We even saw a bear cross the road about 1/4 mile from the cabin as we were driving in the first night. It was great getting to spend the day hiking, driving the Foothills Parkway, or doing the Cades Cove Loop and then coke back to the cabin to relax. Another plus is not having to worry about the kids being too loud inside, like you do in hotels or the like.

Not exactly as described
We had 4 adults. A married couple and 2 single adlut men. There were not 3 full sized beds. It had a queen bed in the one bedroom and a double bed in the loft with a toddler bed next to that. So the 2nd single male slept on the couch. It was fine, just not as described and the photos couldn't have shown that really. It was not as clean as expected with cob webs in many places. No extra garbage bags at all. The bear proof cage in the back was already completely full of garbage. When i called the office they said to bring the trash in my car and use thier dumpster. Not my job. It was more suitable for a family of 4 where 2 younger kids can share the loft or 3 people, one being a couple. Great location. No billiards table or jacuzzi as most all cabins on the other side of the Smoky's do have. Not many restaurants at all on the area, especially that serve adult beverages. Which is fine, just stating if thats something you like.
